9 Overlooked Mechanics In Skyrim That’ll Get You Playing Again
Skyrim is such a massive game that even after 12 years since its release date it still has a ton of stuff that people don’t realize you can do. Here are 9 cool game mechanics and concepts that some players may have missed out on.
Even the original Fable had the feature where, if you buy something, it disappears from the display, if you steal it, its no longer for sale. I can't believe people were that impressed with RDR2
I only just noticed the shop item stuff recently, went through their menu then just decided to look around and was surprised that everything was on display somewhere and shop keep even suggested looking around at his wares
I've been doing the infinite stamina veggie soup thing forever lol cabbages leeks potatoes and tomatoes, constantly collecting them and stocking up my cupboard with hundreds of baggie soup cups. In my head cannon, my character just has an insulated waterskin filled with soup lol
For the last one I think one thing that could fix the cooking mechanic by making it so you can level up your cooking stat over time so that food that would usually only replenish a minuscule amount of health could now replenish a lot more
If you stack enchanted ring necklace and circlet with shout times it can be so much fun using cyclone on everyone , it gets to the point where they cant even stand up before you finish them off. Even giants and bears arent safe hahahaha!
theres a quest where u can get daedric mail an another where u have to get a note off a body at the top of a dunguen and he has fully enchanted dragonbone armor
one annoying thing about Sneaking is that enemies can still HEAR you, if you are wearing heavy armor. but i've found two ways to get around that: -use the "Muffle" spell. yes, the enemies can hear you cast, UNLESS you have the "silent casting" perk. -if you do the Thieves' guild questline far enough , you can get "Nightingale boots", which act like "muffle" spell. there's also a similar set of boots you can get by doing the Assassins' Guild quest.
oh, and i also, just yesterday, discovered that since Falmer are blind, you can cast Muffle and walk up to them WITHOUT using Stealth, and they won't notice! that also works on their insect helpers!
You don't get any experience from pickpocketing paralyzed NPCs. It's easier to reverse-pick paralysis potions than cast the spell because that won't turn any NPC hostile.
Bro tip for collecting the flying insects: use the master level firestorm spell to kill all of them at once and then clean up with telekinisis which will grab the pieces much easier for you to pickup, doing this you can get hundreds of each in minutes if you know the good spots for farming them, and they respawn daily

2:26 no it doesnt lmao
Good luck finding the bugs after killing them.
Just use the slow time shout to catch bugs at your leisure.
What an obvious and pointless video.

I shoot butterflies with a bow and arrow
This is a bad video

I personally love cooking. I wish it had it’s own skill tree or something 🎉
4:55 I accidentally did this in Riften and Mjoll straight up murdered Aerin over a cast iron pot 😂😂
I’ve been playing in survival mode and it changes the whole game for the better
Saadia has cracking norks …..so i have to side with her
oh look, another useless video of trivia people already fucking know
Its hilarious you'd even need Fence to sell stolen goods to the LITERAL DEMON FROM HELL.
It’s funny that you can’t have chests to store items like on Minecraft. It’s certainly set in the kind of world you’d expect to find chests.😊

Shout unrelenting force drops flying bugs to the ground
You mentioned it, but shouts are way more effective than swinging a weapon.
Milk makes you strong , mead makes you weak, Nords were/are stupid.😂😂😂😂😂
technically, if Sadia is taken she will die too.
Being able to continuously doing power attacks after "eating your veggies" (vegetable soup) seems very fitting
For the last one I think one thing that could fix the cooking mechanic by making it so you can level up your cooking stat over time so that food that would usually only replenish a minuscule amount of health could now replenish a lot more
How you gonna say you can pickpocket at a 100% but then not fcking show it actually annoying good tip but friggn show it damn it
very interesting! great quality video too.

Collecting butterfly wins is only annoying in console lol, on pc you just point and hit the button
Tapping the abilities button while crouched also makes you couch faster. No need for perks.
I've never seen anyone talk about how to get salmon roe. You gotta kill those jumping fish at streams
crazy that paralysis, = 100% pick pocketing, i wonder if my boots of pickpocket that increase the chance of success by 12905038905% 😂
Modddddddz
Surely collecting butterflies is easy to like 90% of us right?
so where do u get the book for the black market?
theres a quest where u can get daedric mail an another where u have to get a note off a body at the top of a dunguen and he has fully enchanted dragonbone armor
Number 4 may actually be a place holder since she is effectively removed/dead in game

You can also just sneak up on butterflies and they don’t fly away. Probably easier than hitting them
God bless
2:33 You can just shout at a group of bugs and they all drop dead! 🤗
Saadia noooooooooo
Ri’saad has way better loot and like $4500 in gold. Only after all the saints and seducers quests and killing the naked wizard.
You don't get any experience from pickpocketing paralyzed NPCs. It's easier to reverse-pick paralysis potions than cast the spell because that won't turn any NPC hostile.
You can use unrelenting shout to pick pocket too

0:01 …and you know what else is massive…
