This ended up being another long one – I really wanted to wrap up the Sinding/Hircine quest, and it was a ride!! We also encounter a Hagraven and get jumped by dragons in the middle of the city (and I panic slightly – sorry headphone users).

  1. I am absolutely shocked that two dragons appeared at once. I thought that only happened at very high levels. This game has changed a bit since the version I play apparently. 🐉🐉

  2. I enjoyed hanging out "live" in chat, and as always a very enjoyable episode 😊
Looking forward to more, more, MORE! 😄

  3. TiP: Whenever you Level Up, it has the side bonus of filling your Health, Stamina, and Magicka to their current maximums. So if you're in trouble in the middle of a fight, and you have no potions, but you DO have a Level Up available… 🙂

  4. I am 160 hours in. And only up to Aludin's Bane just being completed. Greybeard's being requested to assist calling a truce. My entire playthrough thus far has been countless hours, over 100..of primarily miscellaneous sidequests😂😂.

  5. Yes, you need perks lower in the trees to reach the higher ones. It must connect with the bottom.

  6. If you have a magic weapon that has lost its charge, ( Like Macey) t is still good, you just have to re-charge it with a full Soul Stone of any size. Find the weapon in your inventory, Look at the lower left corner of the screen. It should say re-charge some where there. Click on that, then click on whatever Soul Stone you want to use..And you are good to go. If you dont have any full Soul Stones for some reason, you can buy them at certain stores. Farengar has some for sure in Whiterun up at Dragonreach.

  7. Just a suggestion here, you have a follower, Lydia, why do you dismiss her at the end of each quest? It makes sense to me to keep her with you, so that in the event of a surprise attack, as at the start of this episode, you dont have to fight all on your own. There's surely no point in having a bodyguard if you leave them sitting at home, it's her job to protect you. She will also be there to carry spare gear for you, meaning you dont have to dump stuff you'd prefer to keep, so give her good armour and weapons, keep her with you all the time until either she gets killed( youre the only one who can do that, by mistake!) or you meet or recruit a better guard…the world of Skyrim can be merciless to single adventurers, so basically, when exploring a cave or fighting bandits, anything that keeps the odds in your favour HAS to be worthwhile, yes?

  8. You need around 40 dragon bones to make and upgrade dragon weapons and armour same for light 40 dragon scales

  9. Maybe i missed it, but the moons are the shattered corpse of a god…and the sun is an exit hole in the fabric! … i forget which God in both cases. The Kajit have about 5 forms depending on the moons phases at birth.

  10. Shame that you missed Maurice talking to Danica in the temple by initiating conversation with her too quickly.

  11. Good trick with any merchants, sell what you want and when they are out of gold (if you have more to sell) buy things you need (potions, arrows, spell books, etc) then continue selling things to get your gold back. Works like a trade system in a way.

  12. There is so much to do in this game that you can start off on a simple little quest, and get sidetracked for several episodes. Just enjoy the ride! 😁

You have to wait 2 days for merchants to replenish their gold. But their inventory also changes, so if you want something they currently have, it may not be there when they restock.

If you like One Handed weapons, be on the lookout for gauntlets, rings and necklaces of Wielding and get as many as you can afford (they are not cheap!), because their effects stack and your attacks will become much more powerful. Same goes for any melee or magic skill.

The perks in the Skills constellations have to be unlocked in order (you can't skip over any).

For most quests, if you highlight it in your journal and press the Map button, it will zoom right to the location on the map.

If you are in 3rd person view, you can zoom in and out (it's the mouse wheel on PC, but I think consoles use one of the toggle buttons).

This episode was a lot of fun! Looking forward to the next one! 😊

  13. Potions are ridiculously over-priced at most vendors but when a merchant runs out of coin and you still have a lot of junk valuable commodities to sell you might consider buying a few.
Also, it's not a bad idea to carry one or two cure disease potions for when you're out in the wilderness.

  14. Ha ha! You'll find that dragons are not very respectful of your plans for the day. Two at a time is very unusual! You should be honored!

  15. What the heck was Sinding doing on your first attempt? He was pretty passive near the end of the second attempt as well. He normally makes mincemeat of those hunters.

  16. The cursed ring only affects you if you're a werewolf… Werewolves can change at will, but the ring causes random and uncontrolled changes. I've never actually experienced them. i do this quest before the one that turns you . Werewolves are immune to disease, btw 🙂

  17. Another tip, when you’re looking at quests, you can click the “show on map” button and it will bring up the map and show you the spot.

  18. it might be advisable, before beginning a new quest, to sell off any surplus items you may have, or if you have a safe place to store them, then do so. Every quest or task you undertake in this game will provide you with additional items, some of which you just WON'T want to leave behind, so it makes sense to begin a quest or mission carrying only stuff you'll need…you wont need flowers, buckets, brooms etc, you WILL need space in your inventory for all the loot you're going to pick up..once again, having your bodyguard with you would be ever so useful…

  19. You need to take Maurice with you to get the best ending of the quest…but keeping him alive is a major pain…save often and good luck.

  20. Merchant inventories restock ever two in-game days (you can do two 24-hour waits right there in front of them, and they'll have new inventory and gold). However, their inventory is randomized each time it resets, so if they have a particular item you like, you'll need to buy it while he has it.

  21. A tag-along NPC is not counted as a follower, so Lydia is still available if you wish to bring her as well.🎉

  22. Worried about NPC's getting killed by dragons? Every playthrough is completely different. On my current save, almost every time I fast travelled to Dawnstar, a dragon attacked. Can't even begin to count how many NPC's were killed. Guards, the game automatically replaces. But when vendors die, they aren't replaced – and that creates problems.

Heck, in my save, a dragon almost always lands in Morthal as well, but other than a random guard, no NC has been killed. Not sure why the game has so severely punished Dawnstar this save.

  23. Spoiler free, but if you dont want to harm the Eldergleam, speak to Maurice at the top of the hill, before collecting the sap. The quest has two different endings 🙂

  24. Most chests you find are levelled. Items will vary depending on your level. Vendor inventory changes as well. You may have to visit a vendor several times to find the item you want.

  25. I always spare Sinding as well ☺️…he didn’t mean to do harm, and everyone deserves to have a second chance 😉

  26. Yes, you can buy a house/property in almost every hold in Skyrim. Falkreath is a nice, lakefront property, for which you have to build from scratch. It can be very expensive, as the land is about 25K gold, plus then you have to buy the lumber to build. You have to mine the stone and clay. You will need to buy iron to make nails, iron fittings, hinges, etc.

When you become Thane of Falkreath, you are given Reyya, a beautiful Redguard woman as your housecarl. Please don't kill her accidentally. In my current save, the very first time I ventured out with Reyya as my follower, we entered a Dwemer ruin together, and were almost immediately attacked by Falmer. Never saw Reyya again.

  27. 5:20 that's why i love Bethesda games, oblivion, Skyrim, Starfield, these types of moments happens every now and then x)
1:08:00 i think the ally is bugged, he doesn't attack most of the time, that's why you struggle so much x) probably been said already but if you level up it replenishes your health, stamina and magica

Sneak is one of the best skill tree in the game, both with bow or dagger is so op
The perks with critical damage aren't that good (i don't want to hate on them they're still nice) because the crit damages is based on the base damage of the weapon, so if you have upgraded a weapon, it's crit won't make a lot much more damage than the non-crit
The "blocking" tree is probably the most absurd if you get it to lv100, i personnally never got it that high, it's really boring to "farm"
(but don't worry and take your time to get to know the skill trees and perks, you can use them whenever you want)

the fortify conjuration always confused me, "last longer for 60 seconds" , then do you need to use the potion after you summoned something, does it even work? i still don't know after more than 10 years of playing

  28. Since you like taking off your helmet and gauntlets when outside of battle, you should set them to your Favorites menu, so you can take them off and put them on more quickly. Should be triangle on the controller, when you select it in your main menu.

  29. You should really put some level ups into magic, because, as you saw, you didn’t have enough magic to make the frost rune. And some future quests will require you to have more magic as well ☺️😉

  30. 9:10 wow wow wow. That is some BAD luck you got there. So early in the game to have TWO DRAGONS spawn in town. That’s really rare and super tough. Geez.
