God, I know it’s been said time and again, but imagine Arty got a glowup like slave knight Gael. Starts off as berserker, then regains himself and fights with his shield and full moveset with Sif backing him up.
That's my GOAT Artorias. Easily my favorite character in the DS series.
I first did the DLC on NG+4 and it took me 14 tries to kill Artorias and Kalameet (wanted tail cut). Good times man.
Artorias marks the moment in Fromsoft’s history when they truly became something special. Up to that point they made a couple of really good and difficult 3D action games, but this dlc was step one to becoming the one of the best developers of all time. Love this boss.

I REALLY hope Biboo figures out WHY he has that bad arm. It's one of the sweetest lore bits in Souls.

Normally, it's a pet peeve of mine when people say something from an earlier series/franchise reminds them of something from a newer one, but in this case, I think it shows just how perfectly Artorias nailed what makes Souls combat fun. This whole fight was ahead of its time.
It's just amusing to me how this 4'7 absolute unit of a gamer obviously went through the goth phase during her years.
