While we are in a dry spell of Kingdom Hearts waiting for KH4 and Missing Link, people are looking at possible remakes of games that desperately need them. 358/2 Days and the χ saga (Union X, Unchained X, Dark Road). Question is, would they make sense?

Theres a rumor going around that Ml got delayed due to it being reworked to a console game dropping the mobile portion entirely and kh4 got scrapped mid dev wont come out til 2027. And union x remake is being worked on.
Be it this is a rumor so do not believe
The reality is the KH fan base is such an easy money maker. We'll take whatever you give. For me its union X because I missed that period of time (kids, career etc) so without it I'm going into KH 4 a bit blind and a bit meh about the characters.

Personally I want a Union X and Dark Road remake that gets put in modern consoles, the player character should still be customizable. 358/2 Days and Re-coded I would like to get remastered and put in modern consoles in a bundle
Union X is def the more likely of the 2 actually happening with the fact that rn there is no "offical" way to consume the Union X story at all, best case? Union X gets a full fledged remakle, complete new game practically just with Union X story, worse case? they just throw all the Union X story scenes in with like KH4 or something.
Imagine they bring Union X Dark Road back on consoles as the same game, personally I would be too upset
Not gonna happen for the mobile games. If they thought it would be profitable to put them on console they would not have made them mobile games to begin with. KH side stories are too niche. If stuff like DR/ML weren’t mobile they simply wouldn’t exist.
If I had to choose which one I want remade it would have to be Union X Dark Road. I played Days when I was a freshman in high school. I was the same age as Roxas and the game really helped me get through a lot of stuff I was dealing with that year.
