This Hell Mode playthrough will consist of the following:
– May or may not be 101% because of the water is lava part considering it may be difficult to get everything we need especially because…
– the Decoupling Loading Zone Randomizer feature is on. This means that whatever entrance we go in, we’re going to go somewhere else which can be anywhere in the game! Excluding Hideout Helm of course.
– When applying the Hell Mode preset on the Randomizer website, it’ll turn on lots of difficult settings, including a setting which is called OHKO which stands for “One Hit Knockout”. I don’t want that so I changed it to “Normal” since we don’t want to see so many deaths especially when hitting an enemy with Chunky is a bit off.
– Reduced Fall Threshold is not turned on even though it was on be default in this mode because I don’t want to lose damage every time I jump off of a ledge even on short height areas.
– Junk items consists of normal commonplace items such as melon slices (health), ammo crates, oranges, crystal coconuts, etc. I didn’t want these items to be dropped so much so I turned this one off along with…
– Ice Traps. These are little Kong traps that when buying it from a shop or winning it from an enemy drop or minigame, it will freeze the Kong and hurt it for one piece of health. I didn’t want this so I turned it off.
– Cosmetics and Music are also randomized though the presets don’t affect these settings even if you have already changed them to your liking.
– Dropsanity is turned on and if you see sparkles around an enemy, that means they have something good to drop such as a Golden Banana, Banana Medal, Nintendo/Rareware Coin, Blueprint, Boss Key, Banana Fairy or Potion (Move).
