I main Spider-Man too and it makes no sense. You have to wait five seconds each for every web you shoot
I would understand if you were able to spam your cartridges and have to wait five to refilled the whole mag but come on five seconds each is insane.

A buff I really want for Spidey is the ability to manually reload all your webs shots. The down time is too much, most DPS can just get their ammo back all at once instantly.
as much as i want spiderman buffed, it does kinda fit his character to be a massive uncerdog in this game compare to everyone else
okay so it is just as fast and saves web charge if you just bound second jump to scroll wheel and scroll and instantly attack
Spiderman has a skill ceiling and an even steeper skill floor, but I don't think he should be buffed, I think everyone else should match the difficulty of the articulate, fast pace decision making that spiderman has. You whiff a web, you get punished, you hit a web, you get to potentially instantly kill one of their healers. They should not buff that at all.
However, in terms in damage output in comparison to other heroes, spiderman should have something to do better sustained damage to keep up with heroes such as moon knight. My recommendation is expand his melee max range by 3 consecutive kicks instead of 2 punches and ending with the max range kick. I do think his web swings do regenerate a little too slow at times, but that's because my utilization needs to be more carefully thought out. Another idea for increased sustained damage is damage over time, if spiderman lands a lethal combo and you survive, you should either be more susceptible to damage, to mirror a broken rib lol, or you just take an additional damage over time. It's useless but it'll help get mf'ers off our back for not getting enough damage lmao

There's honestly a better tech for a very similar combo that a guy named itscyber_ex found where using the scroll wheel as a secondary jump control lets you instant double jump and animation cancel a fist slam with an uppercut (basically the same result as in this video, but faster and doesn't require a wasted web). You also exit the combo with double jump momentum so you can use that now saved web to escape.

yea thats how i've felt playing spiderman but I just chalked it up to me being bad. i only play this game because of spiderman and I will only play spiderman but jesus does it feel bad getting getting 1hpd by hela in 1 tap who by the way has 8 ammo when I have 5 ammo that's a fairly slow projectile and even when I hit it, it does piss poor dmg and the combo isn't even consistent due to randomly getting stuck on the wall between the pulled target and me or hawkeye just pushing and 1 shotting me. also has a 10% dmg boost while hela has 20%.
i feel like he would feel a lot better if he had the target thing like iron fist if they don't want to buff his dmg. also I get why they put him at 250 hp because he's alrdy hard af to hit but I feel like if he had a reset mechanic where he healed to full after every kill that would feel nice as well.
also idk about u guys but I feel like jeff is just impossible to kill because he just swims faster and the 2 bubbles heal my full combo and pushes me away. now I've deluded myself into thinking that as long as I'm drawing someone's attention I'm not useless – if I'm drawing 3 even better, I just try not to die and just distract. and also bless the fact that I'll go 22-8 and pull more than my own weight and will still get called useless because my damage doesn't match hela's whose just spamming left clicks at tanks all game.
BUT I will say in certain maps I think spiderman is op but we collectively are just too shit/new. for example in the asgard throne room or at the warrior falls, you can consistently drag ppl out of the map once ppl get rly good.

Have you seen the tech where you bind jump to scroll wheel and insta double jump for the overhead slam into instant uppercut animation cancel? It seems less situational and might even be faster. Love the vids <3
Before I start this is because Ants didn’t know who made this.
So his was made by FAME all the way back in the beta and he was the first to do it there. He also coined the more complicated versions as FAME Plink and FAME Loop, which is slightly annoying he threw his name onto allat shit but he wants legacy and he puts in the hours so I can respect it.
Even so I would still recommend also watching his video and perfecting his tech completely while in the firing range in practice mode before using it in matches but the damage difference is gonna be crazy.

I only solo main him, legit the only reason I’m into marvel or got into comics to begin with is bc of Peter Parker spider-man he needs to be buffed big time but I know what I signed up for, you either hit your burst combos while micromanaging the little resources and extreme cooldowns…or die.

I gotta add something to this, there is no need to use the swing to the game to recognice u double jump or anything, this can be done way faster if you input jump in the Up or Down wheel on your mouse, it makes so you double jump instantly without having to spam SPACE, wich said you RMB > E > Wheel Jump (instant double jump) LMB > F. Faster and easier
Spider-man is a difficult character to balance, but he defo needs a buff. I think his numbers are fine, and if they were to pump them up he would become far too oppressive, but his CD's need addressing. The 2nd uppercut needs to be available sooner, rn i only use it as an escape tool, or to clean up the 1-2 enemies left on point, i cant imagine that was the intent when making it. I dont think this is even a big buff, it would just make the character more consistent and accessible. Get over here's CD needs shortening. The alt-fire recharge needs shortening, and either needs some added utility, like hitting opponents that are already traced reduces his CD's, or have them prop the tracer combo for extra damage. And the wall climb needs reworking. If spiderman attaches himself to a wall that he ever so slighty clipped, ima lose my mind
I agree with the primary fire and I agree that he needs a few buffs but he really doesn't need anything major just a primary fire recharge change (speed it up slightly or give it a reload) and id say give him something similar to Psylocke where maybe damaging enemies reduces his uppercut cooldown or possibly when he gets a elimination on a marked enemy it resets one of his uppercuts. I just hope they keep him the high risk high reward don't make him a brain dead dps like Hella Hawkeye or Psylocke.

Spiderman definitsly needs buffs, too many things counter him.
They could also make it so that if he gets a kill he gets rewarded like gets his web clusters recharged or gets a web swing recharged

might wanna check out a video by FFame. He made a video about a week ago about this tech and expanded on it.
They just need to give him the iron fist lock on when Melee. 2.web-shooter cooldown from 15 to 10 seconds(2 seconds per shot) .3. Increase each punch from 25-30 and kick and overhead to 40-50, and that's it for spider man
Making an underwhelming character do well is a real achievement especially if you like the character. Anyone can pick the auto aim, hold down shoot characters it’s never anything special

Was this nerfed in today's patch? Yesterday I was getting it consistently but today I havent gotten it once after trying for 15 minutes in practice range. Just woke up and am still tired so that may be it but it still seems weird.
Edit: I can only get it by doing a normal m1, if I uppercut, then web, then do a normal m1, i can do the good downward one after, but I cant just do the downward swing after shooting a web anymore.
