The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.

The game’s main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

  1. ESO is set in the 2nd era (i think hehe). Hope we get some insights in the 1st era some day

Lol this vid is 5 years old, thanks yt

  2. This video is a mess, you are just reading off a notepad, like can we get a revamped version with pictures of said characters or maps of the locations and more substance around the events. Like I'm lost on every point cuz you explain the character for one second then just go on jeez.

  3. I wouldn't expect the Yokudan history to be almost entirely a ripoff of Japan's Sengoku period, down to the assasination of Oda Nobunaga

  4. Hay fudge the hammer the Nord in the thumbnail was holdin what mod is that part of i feel like I’ve had it before I just do t remember

  5. So in The Thrassian Plague in 2200 of the 1st Era is The Elder Scrolls variation of Covid-19 or in this case its Thrasian-22 😂

  6. Any 40k fan easily understands dragonbreaks, a.k.a. warp storms.

There's 30k heretic astartes still fighting the seige of terra. Time literally shatters.

  7. Ironic that a Nord called “Merkiller” died fighting alongside Elves against a virulently anti Elvish Alessian regime

  8. Am i the only one that thinks the background music was too high to clearly hear the narration? And i agree that maps would have been useful.

  9. love your lore videos, but would really like to see them transcribed instead of just the autogen ai cc's, for people like me who are unfamiliar with all the terms and names of the races. the ai very often gets them wrong and it leaves me confused. EDIT: I'm a bit hard of hearing as well so captions for me are essential!

  10. I love how the gaulder amulet is hyped up as the powerful and unmatched artifact and when you get it its just "👍"

  11. concept: someone should make a “entire history of nirn, i guess” video mimicking that thing by bill wurtz

dwemer: “oh hey, it’s the heart of that guy whose heart got thrown into the ocean. i bet we could make a new god with this.”
chimer: “noooo!!! you can’t do that it goes against the natural order, and, stuff!”
dwemer: “psssh. whatever. let’s put this into our science thingy and—“ <pop>

  12. I love that Franda Hunding is the Musashi story retold. The Book of Circles is The Book of Five Rings

  13. This shit is way too fast paced, glosses over so many things, and expects the viewer to know loads of context in advance. Anyone know where i can watch videos about ES lore that is a bit more introductory but also delves deep?

  14. Still hoping for a game taking place during this era. 3000 years worth of history and never been there ONCE. Only stuck in the 3rd and 4th era with only one game taking place in the 2nd era but towards the end
