I remember reading that this trailer was a product of a miscommunication with the bamco marketing team, which resulted in the folk rock song Bartholomew by The Silent Comedy being used instead of something operatic or symphonic. That was quite the happy accident, because despite being so thematically different from the rest of the Dark Souls advertising material, it goes hard.
