i don't think a music pack would do great, just add patches where new instruments are implemented like percussion, woodwind, and brass instruments
Instead of it being a pack about Bands they could just do Showtime simply adding more instruments, a singing career, magician career and more.
I hope they do that with The Sims because it's good career's job.
Attention Simmers: If you REALLY want to play with your Sims in a band just play TS3. Bands actually work in that game and even have DRUMS! I mean, imagine! 😂
Frontier seems to do a decent enough job fixing bugs on Planet Zoo. EA could learn from them if they cared.

Yes Satch, i went from recording songs from the radio onto tapes in 90s to burning cds. My older sister would send me a letter every month i was at bording school. Her boyfriend would include a newly homemade cd with new music ❤
everytime i play sims 4 my controller drifts. ONLY ON SIMS. it’s really upsetting

I want them to add bands and singing career ect as a pack refresh like spa day as I think that’s the best way to go about it without coming across as cash grabby and having to leave out certain features bcs they already exist in another pack
Sea of Thieves has a system for playing music where anyone playing music near someone who's already playing a song, the others will automatically harmonise with the original player.
If EA wasn't absolutely incompetent, they could add something as simple as that, or do the right thing and add a stage and a rug that works like the dancefloor but with music. The stage/rug would have slots on it for different layouts of instruments, and when you click said rug/stage a menu would pop up for a group activity where you could select participants and select the instruments they'd be playing. The bigger and more expensive stages could have different effects like fire, glitter, smoke, rain etc. There could be lots of new deaths like electrocution or sudden combustion, etc. They could add a slider with which effects would go off during which songs, and also have a rating system just like the event system to make your concert rock or flop. It would be super simple, but I doubt this $41.BILLION dollar company has the imagination nor technical skills to implement such "advanced" programming as they had on Nintendo wii back in 2006…
Idk if i want another pack. They didnt even fix current bugs at all… last 'proper' update was nearly a month ago.

I'd really love a live band/singer career. I love it in Sims 3 and although it's repetitive I do enjoy the live careers in Sims 4 and being an actress and all. So even if it's repetitive I think I'll have fun. I'd like to be able to go into a recording studio and record singles and records and have to compete for top of the charts with other random stuff, along with being able to do a live concert. And of course more fleshed out singing, drums, bass etc. After school band activity would be cool too to build skills as you age.

Unrelated really but I redownloaded the Sims after 2 year break and Jesus Christ it’s so much worse now, there are so many more buttons and extra things like in Build a Sim, my brain just got overwhelmed and I deleted it. Now very happy to just watch your vids, so much more fun.
If the Wicked Whims mod managed to allow group sex (involving 3 or more sims) through animations and the Get Together pack was able to implement the club system, I think allowing a sim to choose band members to play one song at the same time is feasible for the band pack
EA would lock every instrument behind a $15 paywall tbh
Doesn’t the game automatically add career rewards to the household inventory in new households? I sadly don’t think it means anything that the Spectre household has the career rewards.
