    I do like his new design when it comes to the connections on can make with the revamped Rocket Leaders. Arianna especially since she has a hair style that is vaguely similar to Silver's and it always made me think that she was his mom and that's why She's obsessed with reviving Rocket and getting Giovanni back so that her son can have his father back in his life and so they can be a family again. It also feels like that connection is why Silver has a disdain for the revived Rocket when he fights them since it's his mom being annoying and trying to revive something that A.) Isn't as good as his dad's and B.) isn't gonna bring him back even if it was good

    I actually like your comments on how his slender Gen IV outfit is a bit of a downgrade in comparison to the original – I never thought of it that way. But then I remember why I like the original GBC rendition of his encounter and battle themes over the DS versions – much like how the baggier clothes enhance his underhanded image, the 8 bit themes have a simple, intense, yet sad overtone that the DS' cacophony versions tamper down.

    The Adventures manga also shows how effective a simple singular change to his design without altering the clothes can be – he gets a pair of black gloves, as the manga's Silver is basically an (almost) orphan and a thief fighting to survive with only Green as a surrogate sister figure, instead of him being a petty thief whose stealing is to further his goal of becoming what he percieves to be strong – to stick it to Team Rocket and his dad.

    There's a good reason a lot of us are Not Quite Normal(tm) about this guy.

    Ngl, I always thought his Gen 2 sprite looked like he was wearing a skirt. Course in hindsight, his pants aren't shaded the same way as his skin, but limited palette is limited.

    Ok, but (1) spoiled and shitty is EXACTLY his personality (2) I'm not ashamed to admit that, if I had played the games at 12 or so, this kid would have ruined my entire life. XD
