My first playthrough which I finished quite recently was full of rage quits, ripped shirts and torn out hair but I beat it 🙂 and it’s the greatest game ever
Just got this a day ago and as a dark souls veteran, it's pretty hard because it's completely different. I was expecting it to just be slightly different mechanics like how Bloodborne was but nope, gettin smacked right in the nuts by the hand of "git gud"
Sekiro has like 3 phases 1. Utter inexperience: Hell on earth, basically unplayable, genuinely not fun 2. Midway through: The "Genichiro effect" takes place amd the game begins to click here and there…But you are still human and youvare scared to be aggresive which leads to a lot of mistakes.. Guardian ape and Owl will kick your ass…Yhe isshins and demon of hatred will be your downfall 3. Getting good: Probably only noticable after fist playthrough is complete and you start your second You don't die that often anymore, but you are more aggresive than ever You have finally understood
First time I played sekiro I really was about to give up like after 2/3 hours then I tried to play something else c.o.d /A.C.C I said wtf I'm doing and I got back to the master piece ❤️
I’m currently playing sekiro and just beat genichiro, It is quite hard but I heard things about demon bell and a charm which I don’t get at all, is the game people call the hardest only with these items or is it hard without them? I wanna play the game they call the hardest so I wanna know
That guardian ape is a bitch ass his first phase is poison spam he farts on upu while your drinking a powder he throws shit at you and when he goes into second phase he spama terror scream
It would be hilarious if you put clips of the Genichiro input-read mikiri loop and True monk firecracker cheese. Sekiro has some of the most fun and hilarious cheese strats in all of soulsborne
I went looking at sekiro 1 star reviews and basically every single one was just people crying that the game was “too hard” or “janky and inconsistent”. Meanwhile I think Im on new game plus 9 and after my second run I could basically parry only every boss. Sekiro has the highest learning curve but by no means is the game “unfair”. Once you understand the mechanics the game is essentially in your control and as long as you don’t just panic parry and dodge spam you will be fine. You hardly have to move in sekiro I have beaten bosses standing still so it simply can’t be that hard. The last clip is a perfect example of how you could exploit the bosses in sekiro it’s actually how I beat owl the first time😂

Incredibly.. at first but then it starts to get pretty easy and bosses only take a few try’s to learn mechanics
