I bought GZ at launch and beat it in 15 minutes because I tend to speed my first playthroughs of MGS games so that I can go through again with my knowledge of how the systems work. I remember sitting there going "It was SHORTER THAN RISING?" and being absolutely PISSED.

idk whats worse. bought likes , bought subscribers or awful opinion about this game. in what way this game sucks? AI is amazing, movements feels smooth, graphics are good, optimization is smooth, music is amazing, all the systems with staff management is a cool addition, buddy system is awesome and story is actually interesting, it makes you read theories and watch videos about timeline of entire lore.

I remember people tried to do the “I’m smart for having a contrary opinion” angle by blaming Kojima for the breakup, but Konami’s subsequent endeavours have proven them thoroughly idiotic. A disaster of a company. Although Kojima didn’t exactly move on to grand designs himself.
Actually L1 and R1 to shoot was standard formatting for the PS3. Call of Duty did it, Battlefield did it. It wasn’t “weird MGS4 controls.” Guess a zoomer wouldn’t really know or remember.

I've only played like 3/4 of the first MGS game but I've always found the franchise interesting even though I don't really want to play it. Since I love your KH videos I've really enjoyed watching your MGS videos as well, thanks Jess!

After finishing this video and hearing what you had to say at the end, I really want to play this game, to be honest! I've only played some of the first Metal Gear Solid; do you think that would detract from my experience playing this one?

Its the best game ever if you pretend it has nothing to do with metal gear and its just missions your pmcs do for cash. I literally play as random mother base people and NEVER as big boss. Add a mod that adds some real weapons so you can use those instead of the fisher price fake guns of the base game, and thats it, play side missions and the main ops that are good and create your new story. I love doing this, the story is such a dissaster you wont miss anything cool, none of these people are cool, big boss (venom) is a boring milktoast mam, ocelot is not crazy like before or after, kaz is a washed out bloodthisty hack maniac, skullface is there, Some liquid sheananiggans happen… you can do without this piece of shit story is what im saying.
