Today we got some unexpected news that shocked our mind! This is regarding the 5.3 banners that have been pretty much confirmed now. According to Hom DG cat and full Chan leeker, Mavuika, Citlali, Arlechinno and and Chlorinde would be the 5 stars characters getting banners in patch 5 point 3. Hom DG cat also mentioned the 4 stars that would be getting rate up on the banners would be Bennett, lanya, Rosaria, Chevreuse and Diona. Hearing about Chlorinde rerun in this patch is a huge surprise itself and it is so ridiculous like seriously.
In patch 4.4, 2 liyue characters got rerun. In patch 3.4, 3 liyue characters got rerun whereas patch 2.4 had all 4 liyue characters re running and suddenly we have no liyue character re running. Not sure what is hoyo upto with this patch 5 but things ain’t feeling normal. The banners have been considered reliable due to hom DG cat who is an extremely reliable leeker that had also leeked the previous banners such as 5.0, 5.1 & 5.2 accurately in the past.
Full Chan leeker also mentioned the banners phases. According to them, Mavuika and citlali would be in phase 1 whereas arlechinno and Chlorinde in phase 2. Now this made things so weird like how 2 fricking new characters in the same phase! However, full Chan also mentioned about a new banners mechanics. From now on, the new character banner will be available simultaneously and last for the entire major version, 42 days. After half of the version has passed, 21 days later, the rerun character banner will start. This will be implemented starting from Version 5.3 of Genshin.
This means that Mavuika and Citlali would be having their banners from start of 5.3 till the end of 5.3 which is 42 days whereas arlechinno and Chlorinde would have banners for like 21 days. From what I got to know, zenless zone zero would also be getting this similar banner mechanic in the future. It is a pretty interesting system as it would allow you to try your luck till 42 days to get the new characters unlike in past. However, the number banner type might probably make banners look clunky especially the weapon banners. Reminder that this information coming from full Chan isn’t much reliable so take full Chan words with sussy ness.
