In this video I tell you what you need to know before you buy Skyrim in 2024. Is Skyrim worth it 2024 – should you buy / play Skyrim in 2024? It is in my opinion one of the best open world rpg games out there, the base game is amazing. It has fantastic visuals, atmosphere and music, with potential for hundreds of hours of gameplay and replayability. Not even to mention the modded gameplay, which can alter the game completely.

Now there are of course pros and cons to the game. So in this video I give you the facts about Skyrim so that you may decide for yourself if this game is for you. But I’d highly recommend buying and playing Skyrim

I hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching.

  1. I’ve never been able to finish the main quest because of the game breaking bugs, but the mods make it worth it

  2. As a person that has played Skyrim, the intro is absurdly long so if you want to be able to play a new character without wasting an hour of your life then make a hard save before you choose to go with Ralof or Hadvar.
    Stealth Archers are op.
Magic is not as good as the previous games and in the late game, enemies will tank through your magic so play smart, not hard.
This game is very dumbed down compared to all previous Elder Scrolls games, and if you somehow miss something or get something wrong, then you should really rethink your life decisions.
Skyrim is highly moddable, so when you have played vanilla skyrim for a year then you should definitely think about getting some mods.
Don't get Anniversary Edition if you do want to download mods.
All Claw door puzzles are very simplistic, read the books, inspect the claws, and it will be easier than picking a lock.
Read books, you might get a quest or learn skills, and also read spell books when you can, there will be absolutely no reason not to read spell books.
    Kill every Thalmor you see.
    REMANNNNNNNNN!
Seriously though, kill EVERY SINGLE THALMOR you see. Stormcloaks are biased, Empire of Man for the win!

  3. Honestly vanilla skyrim aged like milk–but the modding community is insane. (On PC) People have modded and continue to mod whole new questlines, dungeons, storylines, sub-plots, etc. so there is virtually endless content. There are also mods that make such drastic changes to perks/magic/combat/gear/classes/mechanics/etc. that its like playing a whole different game. People have even started modding Elden Ring and Dark souls mechanics and combat into Skyrim (which in my opinion is a bit excessive. Like just go play Elden Ring, lmao. People can do what they enjoy of course but I dont see the appeal personally).

The Skyrim community is super chill and diverse, nerds from all walks of life kinda come together to mod and discuss the game and Tamriel lore. I think Skyrim is an "essential" game, anyone who calls themself an RPG player or fantasy fan has either already played Skyrim or should do so ASAP. PC Skyrim is objectively superior to console though, the performance is infinitely better and the PC modding community is insane. The stuff people manage to do on there is mind-blowing. Console Skyrim is solid but doesnt have the same modding options and is a lot more limited. If you do get Skyrim you should do it for the expanded content. Vanilla Skyrim is still a decent ol game by itself, but without the mods, dlcs, and expansions you are truly missing out. Pure vanilla base game simply pales in comparison to what mods can offer. Vanilla isnt bad per say, but its definitely… dated, to say the least.

  4. Skyrim is a good game for its time. It is the best game because of the modding community.

  5. Should i Buy one like buying Skyrim V elder ring if i havent played none of them before
Like My more grown up vídeo Game references are RDR2 and GTA V so what do You all think??? I AM between this one or the first last of ya even the original Game not the relaunch or how ever it's said .. ( English is not My first lenguaje).. so thoughts and ANWSERS would be apretiated thanks in advance.

  6. I ne we played Skyrim on PS4. Is it worth it now? I just played it in 360…. I mean I know the game

  7. Ive always wanted to try this game but the memes had me thinking it was a bad game. But if might as well try it soon.

  8. My very first steam game and I played 300+ hrs 🙂 anyone know if oblivion is worth playing though despite the old graphics?

  9. If u wanna enjoy get the special edition one , if u really wanna enjoy get anniversaries edition 👍🏽

  10. skyrim special edition is free right now on PS premium. debating whether i should even download it. I played it a long time ago for like an hour or two but eh

  11. It's very dated as far as graphics, models, textures, gameplay mechanics are clunky and the story is somewhat basic but yeah it's worth it if you haven't already played it. I like it better than ESO but I feel there are newer games that may be better money spent today.

  12. You can get skyrim for 5-20 bucks for like forever, hell even if it was 50 bucks, so money wise it should not be a big deal.
The question should be, is if it is worth the time playing it in 2022.
The Answer for any game should be, as long as you have fun with it, why not.

  13. Not for 70 bucks it isn't.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good game and totally worth owning, but the Nintendo style "Evergreen" prices are blatant price gouging. This is why we complained about the digital marketplaces, because the rules of supply and demand no longer exist due to an infinite supply and no overhead or downside for companies simply keeping stock sitting in storefronts at full price forever.

I plan on keeping my 7th gen copy and never, ever paying new money for old rope. Try making something new and exciting, and then we'll talk.

  14. I am still to start Witcher 3 and Horizon Zero Dawn in my backlog. Don't think I have time to buy and start playing this.

  15. Nothing like uploading in 2022 and changing the title to match the current year 😂

  16. I have tried an hour of the game today and it’s a good game!!!

But obviously is an outdated game in gameplay!!!

  17. Im not interested in this types games, but you make me want to play its, you must a advertisers

  18. "Where the game really shines is the music and sound design"??
Im not here for the music dude. If I want a good music experience I go to a concert. I'm here for the gameplay.

  19. We need a Skyrim remaster fr with better graphics more classes and better game mechanic

  20. In my first hour, i got lost in an ice mountain, went to a dungeon that i couldnt beat, roamed till i found a giant that slaughtered me instantly. After respawning in the dungeon at the top of ice mountain a few times, i took a break 😅 gonna come back later

  21. I got into RPG games very recently! Just finished Witcher 3 and kingdom come, I believe I’m ready for Skyrim! Stoked!
