Episode 1

– In a glorious kingdom that thrives on the harmony between magic and art, epic tales of valor and hope have been passed from one generation to the next.
– The records of these great chronicles uphold the peace and prosperity of all civilization. The kingdom sealed these records inside paintings, to safeguard the balance of the world.
– That is until, without warning, the records within the paintings began to fade away… Darkness fell upon the world, bringing catastrophe and ruin.
The time has come for you to save the kingdom’s future.

  1. Oh… the nostalgia, not only about FF but about that company aswell,Dena corp. And Mobage had so many good games, used to play the hell out of Blood Brothers and Rage of Bahamut aswell as Deity Wars and Hellsgate

  2. I know this is late to the party, but if you haven't seen it already, this game has an amazing subreddit /r/ffrecordkeeper. Very active and many helpful people on there 🙂

  3. Where's the people who explain the mechanics of the game? Videos I see now are pulls and boss fights.

  4. This is the ONLY phone game I play. I can’t stop raving about it, it’s amazing. It’s not a strategy game but it requires you to think heavily for the harder bosses. The soul breaks are gorgeous and I love how the new characters interact with the old. It’s just great!

  5. ah, i was looking for a review for this game

I did wish the game looked a bit better tho. The graphics look even more boring than the original snes versions in combat and because the UI (ugly blue buttons looks so simplistic/like a paint job it just looks super bland.

Of course gameplay is more important than graphics . But regardless of how good a game looks it shouldn't LOOK boring

And yes, i've played every old skool ff game (1 till 10/tactics), but this 1 looks more bland

  6. Maybe if you weren't so concerned about the 'meta' of what's new & cool in gaming (or moreso what gets you views & cash) & actually looked into what was good out there, you wouldn't have robbed yourself of 5 years of joy.

  7. I feel Like FFRK is much better than Gacha Games in Mobile But I Loving it since I downloading it back last year

  8. Only played it for one year when it came out and the only reason I’m coming back to it after 5 years of not playing it is for the music

  9. that one of a kind game that i gladly spend my money on it habitually i never spend a dime in mobile game but that one is a exception

the fight are fun and the end-game content is one hell of a ride sometime that you need to do alots of trial and error that remember me you needed to do theorycrafting and to pull a strat to overcome the super boss

the nostalgia is full on that game i did play every FF and i am huge fan and to see my new SB animated in 2D sprite is a real pleasure

well i hope that game never shut down

can't wait what DeNa have for us in the future but please no more Magicite

  10. In my opinion FFRK is probably the best out of the three (FFRK, FFBE, DFFOO) Even though I refuse to spend money on the absurd prices these mobile devs like to charge I play the game everyday for the last couple years even if it's just to log in for dailies. FFBE is fun. DFFOO's endgame is boring as hell.
