Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, Soul Level 1 Walkthrough!
Hey everyone! And welcome to my Souls Level 1 Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin walkthrough! I am extremely excited to bring this series to life. As much fun as I had in Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls, I’m expecting bigger and better things in these episodes!

If any of you have attempted this challenge in any of the games, you may know that it’s not actually as hard as it sounds, and I’m hoping watching my gameplay of the Soulsborne games proves that to you. It actually teaches you how to read attacks and to strategize. Playing at base level/soul level 1/blood level 4 makes you try out new attack combinations, weapons that you maybe never thought were viable and teaches you how to exploit weaknesses. It’s a lot of fun.
This challenge is going to take some time. We will play through Demon’s Souls, then Dark Souls 1, then Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, then Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, and finally Elden Ring.
Your tips, tricks, and advise is always welcome. If you notice in my gameplay that there is an area I can improve on, let’s discuss it in the comments section!

Ah, Sinh. My nemisis actually. I'm contemplating my own SL1 run eventually, but dreading this fight. You still made it look easy compared to my record.

Blue. Tips for the future stupid Challenge Areas:
– In the Fire Passage summon both summons so they can help you kill the enemies, and send them back before you fight the boss.
– In the Frigit Outskirts, summon the summons, then start walking towards the sun until you hit the edge of the arena, after which you can walk left in order to get to the boss's arena. Let the summons draw aggro from the reindeers.
Stupid and wasteful areas they are.
Just carry a torch and the spiders will leave you alone. The mages however…
why'd they have to make the graphics so weird. i tried hard to get into this one but the bloated characters is an uncanny valley
Man I sure loved this game when I finally forced myself to play it after years of trying it from time to time only to immediately quit because it didn’t “feel” like any other soulsborne game to me.
What finally allowed me to enjoy it was when I tried it after a long time of not having played any souls games. Then my mind wasn’t comparing the “feel” of it to anything else and I was able to enjoy it on its own terms.
I'm SL 140+ and I STILL haven't beaten Sinh smh.
