I cannot express how nice it is to see so many coherent arguments being made for the strength of this brilliant game. More so than any piece of media I have seen discussed on YouTube The last of us part 2 is the target of insanely disingenuous or ignorant criticism often made by people who fundamentally misunderstand the game they are discrediting. Thank you for your levelheaded and put together argumentation. No sensible last of us part 2 enjoy has ever tried to argue that this game is perfect only that it has a worthwhile story and cares deeply for its characters: none more so than Joel. This feels like therapy.

After putting a ton of hours in this gaming beating it several times on grounded mode, my biggest complaint in the pacing. The two hours in the beginning is horribly long after a few times 😭
Underrated video.
Im a huge fan of the first game, and although i do appreciate Neil giving us something different, i found part2 to be a bit over dramatic despite the great acting.
Im interested in part3 as i have absolutely no idea what it could be about. Would Abby be the main character? Is finding a cure still a thing? Does it matter that Ellie is immune at this point? Not sure how theyll finish this trilogy so itll be interesting.
Its ironic to hate this game because its a story on the exploration of hate and all the ins and out of it. Thats why its structured like that so you demonize her as much as she demonize joel.
I didn’t keep up with much of the marketing the only bit I saw was that gameplay section with Ellie in act 2 at the car park when they were showcasing the new gameplay features. Judging by what they were saying about the tone being a lot darker than the first and that Ellie will be a playable character I’m pretty much assumed Joel was going to die it is on brand for this world to do something like that to someone we care about. I know some peoples issue is that u play as Joel’s killer but there are a good majority that don’t like the fact that Joel was killed and I just think that’s such a dumb take

Me personally TLOU2 is the greatest game I've ever played from the gameplay (wish there was a multiplayer with this gameplay) the atmosphere, and the most controversial part the story. I wish I could play the story for a first time again because no game has made me feel so many emotions at once this is the greatest game ever made.
