   OK, they may have increased the resolution a lot in the remastered, but the graphics in the standard version seemed more realistic and satisfying to me because the blurry, foggy weather gives a sense of reality.

   Water pyshics seems kinda sped up? The og one seems more accurate to Aloys speed when she swims. Remaster looks like fallout 76 fps unlocked 😂

   The remaster has better foot steps though

   The RIGHT one is definitely the superior standard version with ultra modded improvements to the physics, fidelity, realism, ray-tracing, and many amazing tweaks which makes me ask the question…. WHY did they do a remaster of a 5 year old game?

    at 1:28 the right one is garbage, has an ENB or something that crushes the blacks and blows up the whites

    I thought right was remastered.
    Left has some better models but overall right looks better.

    Right looks harsh, over-contrasty with blown highlights, as if it takes place in vacuum environment. All in all, it leaves an impression like amateur developers worked on it.

    Left looks beautiful and easy on the eyes (for people that play longer than 30min at a time), great atmospherics with nice depth, lovely colors as well. This looks like professionals have left their mark.

    Modded version looks nice but the contrast is too high. To the point that its obscuring parts of the scenery that should not be that dark. Maybe just tweak it a little

    great visuals in both in different ways,but the "best" looking is the original w mods…Unfortunatly it looks to good,i mean it looks to good for it to look good if that is something u understand what i mean?

    I remembered now when i watched this after Witcher 3 next gen got released and i hadnt got my new pc so i needed to keep on playing the original w mods instead(looks great still today)

    So when it comes to visuals n mods,Where or when is the limit reached? i mean if u take a game like assassins creed 2 and do everything u can w mods how close would it actually look compared to AC origins,valhalla or mirage(this is worst game of them all!)

    The original modded looks better than the remaster but I have the game already on PlayStation I don’t need to buy it again plus I don’t have to set it up and potentially break it it’s a hassle to get all the mods plus the performance would be in the gutter and the load times would be long as ** plus in my opinion the remaster looks good enough

    The left looks more natural and balanced, like it was done by an actual artist instead of a modder. The right one looks too good sometimes with some scenes (particularly the last one with the moon) looking ai generated.

    Right one looks mostly artificial. Removing fog and increasing contrast isn't improvement of graphics.

    Wow! V impressive, As a console peasant I'm enjoying the remaster but it's cool to see what's possible on a high end PC was also wondering what kind of Mods are possible, would be v cool to be able to have some of the quality of life improvements from the second game in the first.

    I think slightly less contrast would make the image on the right better overall. In some instances it can be too dark. That being said I still prefer it to the remastered version.
