I wanted to see how Dark Souls Anor Londo assets would look like in the Unreal Engine 5 with high quality lighting, so i made this video. I added some elements, but most are still Dark Souls 1 assets.

Looks totally different than the real one and not in a good way
Nice recreation dude!
One tip from a fellow environment artist, using too much depth of field gives the scene a miniature feel. Like its a model set or something. A giant space will never have dof unless there is something like 30cm or closer to the camera:)
I made this mistake plenty of times as well and learned the hard way.
It’s look generic and boring, only show how brilliant is ds designe, technically worst but still look a lot better
Solamente Anorlondo
Gwynevere in Unreal Engine 5?
For some reason this feels way… smaller than the original. Maybe it's the camera angles or something but everything feels like it's a miniature of the original instead of a recreation
this makes it looks like a diorama
This is Clear Souls not Dark Souls
Completely devoid of the atmosphere of the original
This might be a hot take, but i prefer Anor Londo when it's bathed in that beautiful golden sunset. Still looks great though!
It's definitely very pretty, but man, the lack of the eternal sunset's light doesn't make it feel like Anor Londo.
Assassin's Creed: Anor Londo

It does look great, but the overall feel doesn’t really feel like dark souls it feels like bg3 more than anyrhing
ugly af
Could you try to give it the lighting of the original game? It looks great, but it doesn't look like Anor Londo, it's missing the HARSH orange lighting, but also the dark, dark interiors. I bet they would look fenomenal in this engine with closer to original lighting
Duke Archives and Crystal Cave is the next?
The world needs a Dark Souls remake!!, please FromSoftware, it could be by Bluepoint, please give us this gift!!
Stylistically the vibes are off, it's lit wrong, but… also, to be fair, the sun in Anor Londo is SUPPOSED to be fake. It's Gwyndolin's illusion.
Wow you've made the game completely soulless and shitty looking. So this is the power of Unreal Engine
Need this
Just add some gold lights and there you going to have a better recreation of Anor Londo
its beautiful but its not anor londo. its missing the feel
Wow, that’s absolutely amazing . Can’t wait for some from soft games made from unreal engines next generation
0:36 "amazing chest ahead"
is this supposed to look better?
I love the video, though the pyramid roofs at 0:29 look out of place with the new fidelity. Even if thats how the real architecture looks (i have no idea if it is or is not how the cathedral anor londo was based off of looks, but thats beside the point)—the knowledge that im looking at it in a video game gives it the appearance of being a graphical flaw or cut corner.
This looks like shit. Og is better. This doesn't look like ds at all. If you told me this is Princess Peach's castle, I would've believed you
It looks amazing, but it missed the atmosphere of Dark Souls
daaaaaaaaaaaaamn
it looks like a miniature diorama
From what I see most of the textures are just diffuse, those same textures with layers and maps and better lighting would be amazing, for people asking why it looks like a diorama it's because the horizon is flat, if you add a 3d horizon that effect disappears and you add even more realism.
Took the soul out the dark souls
