This monolithsoft team is awsome. I always thought if this game was ever going to be released on the switch was going to be with a graphics downgrade. Because it was the best looking game on the Wii U. But not, it looks better than the original.

No game has captured what XCX has: Giant mechs, alien weaponry, banger music, and mystical landscapes. I’ve fell out of love for gaming because I couldn’t find a game that could replicate XCX. I’m so excited for this!!

Graphics are better on wii u version. Just more contrast and saturation on switch, more cartoony feel more 2020.. while wii u has that ps2-esque colours and clear and stable rendering

The graphics look less life- like realistic than the Wii U's version. The Switch has more color, but the Wii U wins in terms of framerate and pixel quality.👌

Just had a realisation that xenoblade x was the swan song game before the Wii U died, and now it's the same for the Switch. Both the original and the port are coming out when the successor's announcement is imminent. Conspiracy theory: xenoblade chronicles x is so awesome it kills consoles.

I don’t know how I feel about the new faces. It’s higher poly, but they just look off, there was something natural about the original faces, the new ones look wider and more anime-ish. Don’t get me wrong, I love anime, but the new faces just look worse to me.
Why does the Wii U version have a yellow tint to it? It didn't REALLY looks like that did it?
The Wii U version looks better. They made the characters look too anime style in the Switch version, removed elma's booster jets, and there are some car lights that look better in the original.
I remember phasing through cars in the city, mabye they fixed that?
You can tell that the difinitive version looks a little crisper. If they added some quality of life improvements, maybe i'll give this game another chance.

What's fun is how they use the real time game engine in each cinematics 🙂 for example Elma got customized (ugly?) boots on the wii U video instead of her original ones. 😄

I wonder if the vehicles driving around NLA will have collision hit boxes now? Not having collision kind of broke some of the immersion for me, otherwise it's a beautifully crafted world!
