Credit to @TheOtherFrost for giving me the idea.
Dark Souls 2 has a lot of small and funny details, I didn’t even include all of them I had gathered. Some of the “humor” is even more subtle, such as the fake Moonlight greatsword, certain item descriptions such as the ladle’s and certain spells like Immolation or the Alonne sword special attack.
Some of the humor in Dark Souls 2 is also kind of tragic and sad, such as Lucatiel giving you an Human Effigy, now knowing she needs it herself.

1. Riding the elevator up Dranleic Castle’s tower and you are greeted by the Embedded hanging upside down.
2. Imperious Knights blocking hallways and refusing to budge just long enough for players to drop their guard.
3. Trap platforms in Iron Keep set up to drop enemies in lava.
4. Gavlan wheel, Gavlan deal
5. The Gargoyle fight deliberately having way more gargoyles than you would expect.
6. The area behind the Gargoyles — a reference to the Capra Demon fight — is full of so many dogs. (I heard you liked dogs…)
7. The racing hollows and how they scamper.
8. One of the mirrors in Aldia’s Keep having a guy halfway through it like he got stuck or couldn’t fit.
9. Four excruciatingly voiced lines of Maribeth hacking and coughing with multiple false starts.
10. The old firekeepers not being able to keep a straight face looking at you.

In Vanilla Best Souls 2, when you enter Aldia's Keep for the first time, a skeleton dragon lunges at you out of nowhere. Quality Jumpscare.
A shame that SotFS took it away…

I personally laugh at but hate hollow that’s running away from you in Huntsman’s Copse
The door to no where is actually a shortcut
The very first rupturing hollow in the Bastille after you come up the side with the skeleton in the wall door is positioned perfectly to get players again and again even in NG7
man; that NPC invader from the DLCs was so much fun, and a total bastard.
its a shame we never got anything like that in any of the other souls games.

0:57 Aside from french kissing you, the Desert Sorceresses have an unused grab animation where they literally put you down to your knees and slap your butt.
… I'm not joking. Search for "Dark souls 2 desert sorceress unused grab attack" and see for yourselves.
I HAD NO IDEA THE PYROMANCERS COULD DO THAT GRAB ATTACK. I know everything about Dark Souls 2 and this is the first time I've ever seen that T_T Can the DS3 one do it too?

I believe it's the shortcut to that triple beyblade boss fight where you need to jump from a higher point on the other side.

so shrine of amana is a joke on its own, or the fact that the Alana (DLC boss) can casually summon velstand just for funzies? Have I mentioned the random hole in Old Iron Kings boss room that killed more players that the boss itself?
