Falkreath Hold is home to its fair share of grim stories, but one of the bloodiest has to be that of Half Moon Mill, where there’s something unusual about its occupants.

  1. I just realized the dragonborn would make an excellent tv license inspector with the fact they just walk in and ignore the occupants

  2. I've heard that in the elder scrolls vampires say that werewolf blood tastes the better than normal people so that could explain the book.

  3. I know the implication of Hert and Hern is that they’re just pretending to be innocent loggers to get an easy supply of travellers to feast on, and obviously they aren’t above snacking on a few of them given the contents of their shed, but I find it infinitely more interesting and entertaining to think that they actually do enjoy this lifestyle and actively want to just be loggers. 😅
Obviously there is a self-servicing element of blending into society to avoid detection and thus carry on killing innocents unsuspected, but I really do prefer the idea that unlike the rest of their kind, they don’t want to be the kind of vampires who sulk away in lairs with legions of thralls but just want a normal life. That actually, their main motivation for setting up Half Moon Mill was because they wanted to carry on their mortal lives as much as possible, that they actually do find joy and contentment in the simple life rather than being lords of the night. Especially in TES where vampires are either power seekers like Harkon or the kind of bloodthirsty killers who dwell in dens and lairs across the country, finding two, normal, well adjusted, outwardly friendly and pleasant vampires who stay in the sun all day is a refreshing change. It’s an oddly wholesome relationship of two souls bound for eternity yet preferring to be simple lumberjacks as opposed to anything more. (Again, so long as you ignore all the bodies in the shed. 😂)

  4. I've gotta say, i've got verry little interest ( and in fact have never played ) skyrim yet I still enjoy these videos regardless and I think that speaks to their quality, keep it up 🙂

  5. Idk what life experience made Fizhy interested in making this series, but i am all for it!

  6. I like to think they put the brotherhood contract on themselves to somewhat “farm” the assassins that come after them therefore limiting the interactions with normal people

  7. I love how i knew a lot of these but its really cool seeing all the extra details you bring up.

Makes these old stories come out in a new light.

  8. You have a real talent for telling stories and Skyrim lore videos is by far my favourite genre. Editing is also very much on point, fits nicely with Skyrim's relaxing vibe. Can't wait for the next video!

Btw, what's the song called? Sounds kinda familiar.

  9. 19:28 I mean, it's literally the fact about dragonborns, what you can obtain from Baurus right in the beggining of the Oblivion. (And maybe in some morrowind books, haven't read 'em all).

  10. Pretty sure the vampires having the werewolf book is just a reference to the rivalry between the two in pop culture.

  11. About the book you know that falkreath has a known Werewolf Problem and Vampires and werewolfs are not going along very well
Soo knowing whats good against lycans is quiet smart which is what you would expect from hundred year old Vampires
I have to say nazirs voice is damn good

  12. Please, please, I have to know what mod you're using for the conversations! It just looks so much better than the default and it's pleasing on my eyes. Thank you! I love your videos 💖

  13. I think they have a book on lycanthropy because the only people who can rival the vampires of skyrim (as far as their arrogance allows them to see) is werewolves. they believe that no humans/elves can come close to defeating them so the only real threat is werewolves even if they rarely meet them. there is a werewolf in falkreath's jail afterall.

  14. Thinking back to all the hours wasted in Skyrim I realise… There just isn't enough villages/cities. There's actually so little in the game. A whole country, a whole ass country and there's like what, 15+ MAYBE settlements?
I always wanted more, but I understand the limitations they had at the time.

  15. despite some creepy stuff going on in falkreath, it's always been my absolute favorite hold and city for some reason. to the block for all the falkreath haters

  16. skyrim videos always hit, but im especially enjoying these longer niche videos. even if there is no mind blowing answer to a question i love that you are investigating interesting topics as much as possible
