  2. The term "cultural appropriation" was invented by western leftists to be a stick used to beat people who disagree with them into submission. They will deny it, but we all know the lies they will spin to achieve power.

  3. This game also made me fall in love with the shakuhachi. I bought one about a month after i bought the game, and have been playing and practising ever since. Much love from scotland 👍

  4. Honestly this is the only Japanese themed game that I can actually stand to play well this and Forbidden Siren. All the other games like final fantasy or monster Hunter have this Anime version of characters that really put me off interacting with the game.

I think I appreciate more the Japanese Dramatic arts than the Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon version of Japan that most people seem to love.

The storytelling is sublime, narration superb, I actually felt for the characters, their pain and emotions were real and cinematic and the gameplay was probably the best assassin combat I've seen since Assassins Creed 1.

  5. Japan has given the US so many amazing video games over the years. It was about time that Japan was properly honored by US devs with this amazing game. 🙂

  6. You couldn't be more right when you said that this game is what it would be like if Red Dead Redemption 2 was made in Japan. It would be hard, almost impossible, to believe.

  7. Sad that we went from getting amazing Japanese appreciation games like Ghost of Tsushima to just a bunch of what seems like hatred of eastern cultures by current western developers, where we now get games like Assassin's Creed Shadows. I at least hope they do the same with Ghost of Tsushima 2, but better.

  8. I discovered your channel today and have subscribed.
You have a very likeable personality, and in the videos I've watched so far, show passion for what you're talking about.
You make intelligent and interesting points.

I guess for me, one thing good has come out of Assassins Creed Shadows. Finding your channel.

  9. I've got to ask. How do you play this on an Xbox controller? The playstation uses the touch pad as four extra buttons that the Xbox controller just doesn't have.

  10. Great video! I haven’t watched an entire play-through of any game in a long time, but I love this game and I’m really enjoying your take on things! I hope you post the rest of your play-through on YouTube, and I’m so glad you’re loving the game!

  11. I think another thing about the use of wind and Jin's character is that they are representive of the Kamikaze that destroyed the Mongol Fleet in real history. Even the name of Jin's sword is the Storm of Clan Sakai.
