  1. This show is fucking DISGUSTING. and I love that they don’t shy away from it at all. The infected are absolutely abhorrent to look at, the bite marks are disgusting and seeing the fungus come spewing out of that persons mouth is nothing short of skin crawling.

  2. As pandemic movies or series go, this one is absolutely terrifying.

As if we haven’t figured out that climate change is about to serve man, with pandemics we never imagined could be anything other than an airborne, or fluid transmitted virus.

  3. Just wanted to see this scene from parallel universe, cuz google how indonesian prime minister is looks at presentation of real estate database that can be accessed through finger print

  4. I love how inmediately she is in distress and asks if they got the right person. She is smart enough to know that if you are an expert in fungi and the army comes to see you its really bad.

I would really love a Fear of the Walking Dead style spin off for TLOU (but well made lmao) that pieces all of this together and shows how thes spread is really impossible to tackle even with our military technology and weapons. World War Z novel style, except we lose in a matter of days / weeks

  5. In the game those things have spores and characters walk through those areas all the time like it doesnt get into their hair and rest of their body. They didnt put spores in the show because they know it would be game over for everyone in real life.

  6. I used to wait for this movie to exist before the game finished development.

Nothing really happens like so on earth.

Not picking on anyone or anything.

Wanted to do more, but guardians have so many schedules in use.

Mainly waited for the series to physical entertain my self.

  7. A scientist who asks a military man to bomb a city instead of the other way around? Now it’s really serious.

  8. This was absolutely terrifying. And imagine, this could happen today. Spooky stuff.

The actors did amazing in this scene.

  9. Indonesia bhasa is so similar to sanksrit and hindi.
    Manusiya = manushya = human.

    My mom is named ratna.

  10. “So what do we do?”

“Nuke them from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”

  11. Still gives me goosebumps.

The ONLY opening scene in a post-apocalyptic show (or maybe any show) that matches this one is S1E1 of The Walking Dead ,where Rick wakes up and sees that the world has become an unclean, abominable hell.

  12. I think this segment really shows how far the cordyceps have spread, in the games it made it seem like only mainland American and possibly canada and Mexico were affected but here we get a clear idea that the fungus has been found in other countries

  13. Ratna understood I think that bombing the city even wasn't good enough. If Cordyceps could evolve there to exist in humans, it could evolve anywhere and everywhere.

Just the tiniest bit of time, but I loved her character immediately. She was brilliant.

  14. The military guy looks really like my grandpa. I never actually got the chance to see him in person because he lived in Thailand and my parents were refugees who moved to the US. But the actor has the same facial structure as my grandpa's pictures. Really makes me think what kind of person i would had been if i actually grew up with him around.

  15. What’s crazy is that 30 hours

There is no patient zero. Patient zero is unaccounted for
Patient Zero managed to infect several people at the factory
Right after that 14 people vanished

This is straight up every virologist, biologist, scientist worst nightmare

  16. After this, no one knows what happened to Ratna. She could likely died or survived the disaster and hid in a bunker.

  17. one of my favorite opening scenes in a show ever.. really unnerving, especially after going thru our own pandemic and seeing the possibilities..

  18. They captured that "Its hopeless" vibe so well. When dhe tells him to listen carefully you sh*ts real.

  19. I feel bad for this woman scientist when she realized that there is no human solution to the virus problem.
