Damn i started with DS1 when it was on sale on steam and i just wanted to fucking finish it. looked up so much stuff in playthroughs cause i got lost a lot. I played on M+K (still am), and the camera movement was just terrible. I still loved the game and still love it. But if you are used to sekiro or ER nowadays, DS1 feels sooo clunky 😀
From soft is the dev's version of throwing shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks.
The wrapping is different, but overall, whether it is king's field or elden ring, it is the same concept. Lol
I started with this game and even after playing every souls game i am still scared of the basilisks in dark souls 1 the basilisks in dark souls 2 and 3 dont scare me but there was just something about dark souls 1 that made it really special
Personaly when it come to soulsbourne games its the dynamic combat that makes it for me along with deep lore.
As someone who had a severe case of addiction to a game called Monster Hunter, it made me appreciate the difficulty of the Souls franchise. Me and my homies tried out Demon Souls and it was love at fight sight, we enjoyed the game and followed the Fromsoul's rise to greatness. I wanna thank MonHun for beating us up enough to appreciate games like this.
Game had great atmosphere that made me stay and it was totally worth it. Entering painted world and playing through it was probably the most memorable gaming experience I ever had.
