Škoda Vision Gran Turismo: Unveiled



On 24 April 2024, Czech automotive manufacturer Škoda announced the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo, developed in collaboration with Gran Turismo

Founded in 1895 and with a long and rich tradition, Škoda is regarded as one of the most iconic car brands in the world. The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo was created drawing inspiration from this long history, and its rich motorsport heritage.
This exterior takes inspiration from the ‘Škoda 1100 OHC Spyder’, a car developed for the 1957 Le Mans 24 Hours race while incorporating elements from Škoda’s contemporary Modern Solid design language.

The chassis is made from a cutting-edge carbon monocoque that gives the driver the feeling of merging with the car.
Two 200 kW (268.2 BHP) electric twin motors, one on each axle, deliver a combined power output of 800 kW (1,071 BHP). The inclusion of all-wheel drive with intelligent torque distribution across both axles and single-speed transmission ensures a balanced and responsive driving experience.

Encompassing 130 years of automotive heritage, the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo marks Škoda’s debut in ‘Gran Turismo’. Experience the car for yourself in Gran Turismo 7.

2024年4月24日（現地時刻）、チェコを代表する自動車メーカーのシュコダは「シュコダ ビジョン グランツーリスモ」を発表しました。

シュコダはその創業ルーツを1895年までさかのぼる名門自動車ブランドです。この重厚な歴史とともに、テーマのひとつとして挙げられたのが、1957年のル・マン24時間レースに向けて開発された名車「シュコダ 1100 OHC スパイダー」へのオマージュです。
エクステリアは、この1100 OHC スパイダーをモチーフとしながら、現代のシュコダがキーワードとするモダンソリッドデザインによる再解釈が行われています。

シャシーは最先端のカーボンモノコックによるもので、クルマとドライバーとの一体感を重視した設計が特徴です。
駆動方式とパワーユニットは、200 kW（272 PS）のモーターを4輪それぞれに配置する前輪駆動。合計800 kW（1088 PS）に及ぶ総出力を、前後アクスルに対しインテリジェントに配分。シングルスピードのトランスミッションとの組み合わせで、バランスとレスポンスに優れたドライビングを可能としています。

およそ130年におよぶシュコダの歴史における「グランツーリスモ」デビュー作品となるシュコダ ビジョン グランツーリスモ。その体験のすべてに、ご期待ください。

    I get it, it’s nice to have these VGT but let’s be real, these will never be production cars. Even if they were they would not look the same. Just release all the production cars/racecars from GT6, port them even if they are pixelated!

    Do we get now more Skodas in Gran Turismo ? Like normal Skodas ? Superb, Octavia, Rapid and Fabia, also those old rear engine Skodas would be really cool.
    You don´t see Skoda very often in any racing games, I can only think few rally games.

    The Skoda Vision looks serene and velocity I'm going to maybe simulate this vehicle.
    Skoda Vision은 고요하고 빠른 것처럼 보입니다. 아마도 이 차량을 시뮬레이션해 볼 것입니다.

    Usually not that fond of the VGT cars due to them being either too futuristic or implausible to build but this car looks like a futuristic yet plausible interpretation of group 7 cars like Can-Am

    Dear sirs, creators of Granturismo, I thought I would never write this. Looks like the time has come to switch games!!! Granturismo will remain good for driving museum GT racing cars, no new GT3 cars, no HY, no new and real tracks…. I have no comment, it's sad that Granturismo has collapsed.

    Car looks quite good and probably is fast….but does it really have to be an ev? Can't it make noise?

    Skoda only make it to GT7 as a concept supercar only, consider Skoda Rapid, Fabia RS twin charger, Octavia and Superb. Also bring in the SAAB.
