I beat this game for the first time abour a month ago. Never been great at these games. I've only beaten this and ER so far. But with persistence I shall prevail.
Apparently, all you need is that big bonk stronk. Worked for me in DS3. Ringed Knight Twin Bonkswords for yhe win.
Personally, I don't like the "Linking of the Fire" ending because it goes Against the "everything must end" message by repeating the cycle of the Fire needing to be rekindled.
If he said he is doing all the Fromsoft games then I cannot wait for him to do Kings Field by far one of my favorite Fromsoft game even though it was there very first one. It did a good job showing the power of the PS1 and happy that it got a fan translation. Jack good luck on that one you will need it.

The way I always liked to see the painter's new painting is as the world of Yharnam. Yharnam as we see it may not be gentle but we see only a dream world. It is quite cold and dark however, no?
Another point is that the painter finishes the painting with The Blood of the Dark Soul, and what universe do we know relies on blood for like everything? That's right, bloodborne's yharnam.

Im surprised you didnt mention that the arena you fight the Demon Prince in is Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls 1
