#DOAG . Death of a Game is a series dedicated to uncovering the mysteries surrounding the death of a game or company. nerdSlayer defines the term “death” in the context of the show as either… 1. Literally dead. 2. Had a mass exodus of players and never recovered (expectations etc). 3. The company ceased to exist. We follow a timeline of events, to uncover clues concerning why a game or company doesn’t do well, and attempt to put it all together at the end for a deduction explaining how or why the game failed based on the evidence gathered.

Every single open lobby had multiple idiots camping ontop of roofs all the time.
Tbh, I just didn’t feel powerful as Jason. That’s why games like this don’t work. You have to make it fair and balanced, but the whole point of the movies is that it’s NOT fair and balanced. Jason is SUPPOSE to be an unstoppable killing machine!
the most fun i ever had was playing this game made so many friends but after this game died all of those friends have gone away these last few years
I've been waiting for this video for a long time now. I was just playing This Game a few months ago an people still play it. Just not as many ppl as when this game first came out

I still remember how much this game was a complete trend and exploded in popularity in 2017, I bought the game, and friday the 13th the game was one of the best asymmetrical horror game I ever played, I had such a blast with It and the game is extremely fun both on the survivors's side, and jason's side, It's such a shame that the game with so much potencial, and so much love was added while making the game just died so easily due to a lawsuit
While the base game may be completely dead by the end of this year, the fanbase doesn't let this game die so easily, they are already making the game with new content and update the game with more content on the future, plus, it's free, so there may be some hope for this game
They should know that miller and Cunningham only made the first movie so they had no rights to the rest of the franchise
I love playing as Jason and going after camp councilors, so it'd never be dead to me I'll be hacking it up in offline vs AI.

I remember when the game went live in 2017. My friend and I use to stay up until 5am playing. It used to be sooo much fun.
This sucks because Gun Interactive tried this genre again with Texas Chainsaw which is pretty polished but that game died too.

I'm a big fan the Friday The 13th movies but this game is the worst they dropped the ball with this one
It sucks what happened to this game. I enjoyed playing it almost on the daily with some friends on PS4. I even got lucky enough to get the Savini Jason skin when it was accidentally put up on the PS store lol lot of good memories, unfortunate circumstances.
Ft13th the game WAS my summer of 2017. Last summer of a high schooler all I did was grind and play this with my buddies. So sad to see it gettin shut down this year … 🙁

This game sucked on Xbox from launch and on. Great idea but them fools had no business being trusted to make a quality product
