After years and years of crying from the fans, there's finally rain in iRacing. I bet the hype will last one month and a half and then the playerbase will start to avoid it 😂

Just ran a few rain laps at LRP in the new SF Light, then in the Ferrari 256 at Spa and Nordschleife. Rain sound is superb! Driving feel is everything Daniel Morad says. If you know where the "rain line" is. Server is busy now that it's early evening and iRacing has had a major 13th Week update today.

Would be nice to have some water effect of helmet visor, especially in VR. There's already some dust and dirt effect that piles on over time, think it'd be nice to have.

There is no real world racer that desire to have rain, the good of the videogames is that we control the weather… and we decide to add rain… 🤷 my experience is ACC is that ir gets boring after one race. Everyone crashing around, and the ones surviving making the whole race alone…

Very nice effects on windshields and nice fogging behind the car etc. but the generic third person camera rain looks like 2005 rain from any game in that era…

Hi, dont make the MISTAKE of being able to know the weather conditiones before the race. Otherwise the simracers could choose between race or not if its raining. In my opinion that information should be shown only once the official session had started so if the driver quit because of the rain, he/shee will loose the IR.
Also i hope that the race condition chages between sessions so it would be more dynamic and less predictable for next sessions in the same week.
