    Nice to see you play again :p

    But an advice for this kind of game (open world), it's better to find all around you and farm item/animals/tools everywhere and not just run to the main objectif. Because in theses kind of game more time you pass to find item etc, more you will be powerfull and prepared for the adventure/ennemies. Without it should be more difficult to fight against ennemies.

    I finished this game 5 times already and have all the weapons maxed out.
    Basically I am playing on the UH difficulty and I kill the machines as if I was playing on the lower difficulty and I have over 320 + hours played and over 360 on steam.

    But as I see, your hand motorics are quite underdeveloped for the controller. I would help you a lot if you set the difficulty to Story Mode because it will make you able to kill machines with less shots. Here's an example how fluid the handling of a controller can be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP_garOKN7Q but, just like driving or biking or playing a musical instrument, it's not one day to get trained enough. 🙂

    That personal drama of Aloy deserves your emotions. 😊

    If I may give you some hints:
    1. Use your Focus a lot. It reveals things, datapoints, machine carcasses even beyond walls. There are datapoints worldwide but especially in ruins, and they reveal interesting details of the lore, the history of the civilisation. The date is around the year 3040 btw..
    2. Your pouch gets full quick. If you work on improving them that's useful plus it gives you some training. You need to hunt some real animals for the crafting resources.
    3. Machine Lenses are mostly for outfits, Machine Hearts are mostly for weapons. Sell unnecessary resources (you don't need too much of Lenses or Hearts for example, just keep 2-3 of those which are from stronger machines (harder to farm), and sell the others for Shards so you can easily buy weapons and outfits.
    4. Switch outfits for the given situation: one for stealth, one against fire etc. Aloy can switch them even mid-fight.
    5. You can skip Carja weapons just to buy Shadow Carja weapons first (accessible later in the progression). Even better weapons can be bought from the Hunting Lodge but Shadow Carja ones are quite good.
    6. Look around a lot. Act like you are there as Aloy. Consider and design your approach in harsh situation realistically. It's immersive and fun. Fighting is also immersing and fun, just get some practice; shot/hit and dodge, repeat.
    7. Always scan machines so the Focus can acquire some knowledges about them. The Notebook → Machine Catalog is very useful if you don't remember the weakpoints if a machine. You can enter to the Menu anytime, even mid-fight, time is paused when you are in the in-game Menu. 🙂
    8. Use a headphone/earphone. The world's sounds are 3D, so you can hear the direction of machine sounds, too, it helps a lot when a machine attacks you from outside the screen. Plus the sound engineering in this game in incredible so it's more immersive as you hear the rain, the wind etc.
    9. You can change the default video recording length from 15 to even 60 minutes. Go to the PS's Settings → Share and Broadcast → Video Clip Settings → Video Clip Length. (I re-translated my localised menu to English so these might be inaccurate a little.)

    Playing the second game was a little harder emotionally after learning of Lance Reddick’s passing.

    Sorry got a bit addicted after having David watch infected destroy me several times. This new AI is tricky, but I will enjoy playing the rest. Hard work.

    I just needed a rest stop for a moment.
