Im curious on how FFXV looks on latest gen consoles,PS5 and Xbox Series X so i did a quick comparison of my own. All recorded videos are in 4k 60fps.

-to my untrained non-videophile eyes, XBOX Series X version seems a bit cleaner.
-however, Xbox Share function is incovenient as 4k 60 fps recorded clips cannot be shared and uploaded directly from the console and have to be done using laptop/computer. Ps Share is much more convient as clips can be edited and shared directly from the console. This is not related to visual but can be important for those who do video sharing.

How’s the frame rate in light mode during combat ? Does it dip a lot or pretty stable 60 FPS ?
XV is my favorite game of all time and I have been gaming since the 80s, can you tell me if those challenges are still up to play? are the XV servers still up?

This game could have been so insane if they changed a few things. Magic system for one is really terrible which is sad 'cause the magics do look really cool and when you use them it feels awesome but I hated crafting them so I barely used it, combined with the fact that there is not enough magic variety anyways.
Then there's also the issue of the party system. I'm totally cool with controlling a single character but the fights felt so clunky because Noctis was never allowed to die or it would be game over but you could never die 'cause there's a period where you have time to just use a weak potion and you could do that until you run out of them, making it near impossible to actually die. And actually using your party members was just so slow for a game that tried to be quick paced with how Noctis fought.
Seriously just a better magic system and better party system and make Noctis his fighting a little more smooth and this combat would have been God tier.
What setting is 4k 60? I thought quality was 4k 30 and lite lowers resolution to provide 60hz refresh

But the combat system here had a lot of potential if they improved upon it. like it was kinda mid… but it also could've been great if they spend another year tweaking and redesigning it.

I love the combat battle and the graphics is looking very fascinating.
I’m playing this game now and I hate the combat. Both console style or pc, I’m always hella disoriented and somehow wind up with my camera in a bush while I can’t see Noctis getting blasted by whoever. Then when I try to dodge or run out I’m just stuck in a loop of taking dmg. I really want to love this game, but the combat is killing me.
