I think you could honestly ask this about any random encounter in undertale and undertale yellow. Why would a froggit attack you? why does Shyren attack you? Why does the totally-normal-igloo attack you?
Honestly i think Blue Soul was an afraid child, being suddenly approached in battle by monsters (and well.. attacked) then fighting back in fear, I dont think the Blue soul was evil. Just scared.
mfw the people we declared war on fight back against an attack
also it would have been cool if the geno route had flavor text for Dalv claiming he was responsible for what happened like with Axis but i guess we hadnt gotten that powerful yet
Blue Soul was definitely dangerous, they’d gained a fairly decent amount of EXP (which was then passed to Axis when he killed them) and their stuff is dusty. Fully possible that Dalv knew about this. The Snowden Band also suggests that Clover isn’t the first human to get aggressive, and canonically Integrity did pass through Snowden
Just attacking monsters without killing them isn't enough to "corrupt" one's soul (according to the pacifist route in this game). The blue soul is corrupted, though, which implies they had killed before, justified or not. It's entirely possible that the blue soul killed a monster prior to meeting Dalv, and so he may have felt fighting was necessary to oppose the threat.
Or it might just be that he fought because that's what Asgore instructed his people to do, not caring one way or the other how violent the blue souled human was. I find the former explanation more interesting, but the vast majority of the monsters just don't have very complex motivations to attack the humans past "Asgore said so." (Granted it is in an effort to gain their freedom)
Either way, it is interesting that he has some remorse for his past actions, though whether it is warranted or not in this case is ambiguous.
In ny opinion, I think the blue soul killed a single monster in self defense (Possibly a boss monster due to the shoes feeling dangerous) and Dalv fought the blue soul because he thought that the blue soul was trying to wipe out monster kind, just for the blue soul to run away. I feel like the "Snowdin Massacre" was the Bravery soul, it makes more sense.
Tbf in both the cases of Justice and integrity.. They could both plausibly justify their actions in their heads, because “the monsters started this, and I’m finishing it”
I think that by "im the one who got hostile first" he means that he attacked Clover, not the blue soul human, and even then Dalv was with Kanako at the time of the attack and if he heard that a human is attacking monsters he would probably try to protect the kid he's with. Edit: the human attack in Snowdin was (if i remember correctly) called a massacre by Chujin, which means, even with Chujin's biased view on humans, that they killed WAY too much people for it to be self defense
I had to pause it when it got to the blue soul, I want to play undertale yellow with out info but that can't happen when everyone's showing the final boss.
There are multiple insinuations that the Integrity human was an attempted genocide route, which makes sense since that was a popular theory back when the game was in development.
Band members talking about it “happening again” during a genocide run, the tutu being dusty, and the gunsmith mentioning this in passing:
“Now, don’t worry. I’m not selling ultra-deadly weapons to any passerby with enough G.” “I make sure my wares are tame enough to not be lethal. I myself am not one for violence!” “Well… used enough times consecutively, they COULD be lethal. But then again, a ballet shoe could also be lethal used enough times.” “Look, don’t question my morality too much! I am not prepared to speak about it!”
Out of all of the fallen humans, I think Integrity got the shortest end of the stick. They likely came during a time when the monsters were really aggressive. Attacking anyone who tried to harm them simply because they believed they were doing so because of malicious intent. However, I like to believe that Kanako is as one of the few monsters that was genuinely nice to them.
I have a weird theory I think the reason of intergnity doing a genocide route might be Dalv. Dalv attacked them first wich the human respond with attacking back to defend themselves, they could think that other monsters might have the same behavior so that's why they later on attack monsters first. Chujin said that a human attacked Kanako's friend and other monsters confirm that there were more deaths wich means their acts continued later on untill they died in waterfall. Maybe the human was afraid of death and judged other monsters based on Dalv being hostile towards them when they first met, it was a child afterall so i'm not suprised that they were scared. (Intergnity is not the same as kindness)
That would mean the blue soul human acted out of self-defense. And then fled to avoid conflict. That are very integritous traits. But later they got killed by Axis. Something tells me Undertale Blue will be a pretty short game.

Why do you think Dalv attacked the Blue-soul human?
"What did Dalv do?"
My dumbass mind: Tax evasion
Now we gotta wait for Undertale blue, then undertale green, orange ect ect

Integrity followed the Moral of Kill or be Killed After being Attacked…. That makes since
You know how does the blue soup not be pure he didn't kill and I haven't checked but can't you get paffisict if you hurt but don't kill
Some of Undertale Yellow should be canon
Question is… What was Axis even doing in waterfall? Why would Chujin send him there?
Im bored of UT Yellow content in my shorts i wanna see the actual game
I like how a child with ballet shoes beat the shit out of everyone with the SHOES
This isn’t a reply to question but every video I hear: undertale yellow and axis. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

Dalv racism arc is real
more people need to realize that Undertale Yellow is a fangame. That means non of this is canon, yet it is still interesting
So, basically… Glitchtale got another thing wrong if Undertale Yellow could be considered canon.
WAIT WHAT??? I NEVER KNEW THIS?? from what i gathered i assumed that the blue soul human was killed in the ruins, i didnt know any of this

globgoglabgolab
Im so stoopid, i don't get how to spare Dalv, so i killed him(
Didn't the Blue Soul Human attack Kanako?
I hope toby fox will accept this game as cannon since it makes so much sense
Monsters be like:
– attak homan
– hooman atak back
– oh noes homan must be evill :0
But we know clover is 100 pure because that damn flower changed his fate so much.

Honestly now I want a game about the blue soul human
Why would a geno human answer the call for help in the omega flowey battle
Why would the genocidal blue soul help frisk in the omega flowey battle? You only get the answer the call for help in the Pacifist ending
BRO GONNA BE THE NEW OWNER OF GAME THEORY
Do not forget: Undertale Yellow is a fan-game.
