Fun fact: even tho it looks fun being a ball turret gunner it isn’t, it has tight spaces so tight that they cannot fit a parachute in it, so if the plane go down you need to get out of the ball turret, grab the chute, then jump…if you survive to say atleast, since ball turret gunners life expectancy is very low due to it being the only turret to protect the lower hull of the aircraft, meaning it’s a main target….since a defenseless aircraft is just a huge target for the Stukas
