Skyrim is a game of many quests the Dragonborn can take up as apart of The Elder Scrolls 5’s main storyline and it’s factions. However, some of Skyrim’s most memorable adventures aren’t attached to the grand campaign and are instead entirely independent side quests. Side quests offer many of TES 5’s best adventures and definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. So today we’ll be taking a look at my top five side quests in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

  1. Like I just wanted to know what quest to do, not to spoil them you should have did a big SPOILER ALERT

  2. I did the first mission then melka died and I console command revived her

  3. I've actually did most of these lol. I've done rise in the east once, severed cold a couple few times and blood on the ice a few times I just never mess with it a lot of the time. I've actually heard of repentance I just don't think I've actually done it and if I have it was only once. I know for a fact I haven't gone to blind cliff cave I don't even know where it's at lol.

  4. In the blood on is quest you can bring the butcher journal to the court mage instead of the steward

  5. Knew #3 for a while only because of the reward. Only just learned #4 recently, lol. #5, I don't think I have ever actually gotten the killer.

  6. I thought I did blood on the ice right though ;-; poor court wizard has been in prison indefinitely xD

  7. The beginning to "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood" when you can kill Astrid, is my favorite. Not sure if it counts as a side quest, but I still love hearing her gasp "well done" when she dies.

  8. You know how I stumbled across the east empire company quest? I was trying to complete the 7 special items for Devin Mallory in the thieves guild and missed the map, so I went back to get it.

Edit: after completing the quest you can't ever go back to that location so be sure you look around before you leave.

  9. I use skyrim when I'm bored of other games I'll come and go but this is my first time I've played where you can fish and it pisses me off cus skyrim is such a fun game but it's lacking in a lot what pisses me off is they can do all these updates but yet they can't fix 2 of the biggest problems this game has.
when you level up and progress through the game, it comes to a point where it gets extremely lagy and it gets so ridiculous to play.
And the other problem is if you buy or build a house and you leave a weapon or armor on a rack or stand you leave your house and come back now what you put on the racks are gone or they are in a different room on the floor or if you put a weapon in a glass case same thing when you come back it's open and your weapon is gone or the bugs in a jar if you want to decorate your house with them you won't be able to find them again.
the hose glitch and all the lag needs fixed and ik they can fix it look at gta or red dead they are the same stuff

  10. I started searching for books for an orc in the academy and till this day I’m still searching for books and it doesn’t end

  11. Paused this to do a Skyrim quest and ended up doing the darklight tower quest with Illia and when I unpaused this came up. Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  12. Killed Melka before realizing, she is not just a random enemy…she drops the eye of melka anyway😅

  13. Honestly it's a good idea to do Blood on the Ice as soon as you can, you'll want have decent stealth, lock picking and pick pocketing. If you do it after the civil war it'll be bugged, if you do it after doing Mourning Never Comes and kill Nilaene Shatter-Shield, her mother Tova will commit suicide, her dead body will be in their house upstairs but will despawn, make sure to get the key to Hjerm from her. Make sure to sell the strange amulet to Calixto, otherwise it'll be useless dead weight in your inventory.

  14. I want merch with my favorite expression of yours… A t-shirt with the text 'This T-shirt has been murdered to death'.

  15. The people of Raven Rock know how to treat a hero better than most of the rest of Skyrim. The grateful town will let you take as much ebony as you want when you reopen the mine and give you a free house for killing its previous occupants. I also feel like you get something else from helping the town but it's been a while so I can't remember

  16. I don’t see why everyone hates the Crimson Nirnroot quest. I didn’t love it but I enjoyed walking around Blackreach since I don’t go there often. It’s nowhere near as bad as the goddamn unusual gem quest, even if you have a mod, the fucker breaks and you still gotta manually do it
