Im curious on how FFXV looks on latest gen consoles,PS5 and Xbox Series X so i did a quick comparison of my own. All recorded videos are in 4k 60fps.

-to my untrained non-videophile eyes, XBOX Series X version seems a bit cleaner.
-however, Xbox Share function is incovenient as 4k 60 fps recorded clips cannot be shared and uploaded directly from the console and have to be done using laptop/computer. Ps Share is much more convient as clips can be edited and shared directly from the console. This is not related to visual but can be important for those who do video sharing.

You should swap to other characters too not just focus on Noctis it is more fun using Ignis then Prompto

Consider this is still a PS4 Pro game running via backwards compatibility, does it have 60 fps in resolution mode? Or you playing in 1080p mode?

I like how the Darron Artis Theme still lives on in this game 0:22. The only thing I don’t like about the game is that these guys look like a bunch of teenage college drunk punks, not like your typical Final Fantasy characters.

Hey bro how did you get it to look so crisp on PS5? Are you running on Lite mode? Also curious if you’re lowering your PS5 to 1080p
Good video, but misleading title. Your camera may be recording at 4K, but the game itself is still only running at 1080p-60fps. The improvement is that the PS5 is almost a locked 60fps vs the PS4 pro.

the only thing i am dissapointed with ffxv is that you cant explore the game while playing as gladio, ignis or prompto, i just wish there was a thing like that in a game lol, game is a masterpiece otherwise
