I'm bound to make a few mistakes with a video of this much length. If you find any issues then feel free to let me know and I'll correct them down below, along with giving you credit!
Timestamps were missing for Abandon Ship, Bombs Away and Bumper Balls.(Anderson Crush)
0:14 – Misspelled "Identifying", although I'm not as upset about this as I should be since I've misspelled this word so much that it's practically a part of me now. (tassaron)
36:00 – Mystery Land's seven star spaces failed to appear, here's what they look like: https://i.imgur.com/6Ty0ceu.png ; funny how the board all about mystery had its star spaces hidden away for whatever reason… (Polderjoch)
42:37 – It only takes 10 coins to dance with the boos and Mr. I's, not 20. (coolpizzacook)
48:40 – There's an item shop on the bottom left corner of Bowser Land, totally blended in for me. This means that it is possible to have some autonomy over the items you have, but the item shop on the top right will still take up your item slot if you're not careful, so keep that in mind! (jimmynacho)
57:39 – Mushroom Mix-Up's mushrooms don't stay below the water as long as the hexagons stay under the lava in Hexagon Heat. This means that when the mushrooms speed up, you can actually stay in the air long enough for them to come back out of the water, which you can't do in Hexagon Heat. (MelloMathTeacher)
1:09:28 – I say the same thing twice, guess that means it was really important! (Timesez Smm)
1:20:05 – The first Mario Party has the same amount and type of variations as Mario Party 2, you just can't select them. (MelloMathTeacher)
1:45:23 – For Toad Bandstand, all that matters is that you actually landed on the note, accuracy is negligible. For example, if one team barely lands on every note while the other team lands on each note _perfectly_, then the result will be a draw, with one team winning at random. I've played a LOT of Mario Party 2. I've never seen rainbow run
I recently tried explaining 1:46:47 to King of Skill. I don't think he gets the memo.😅
1:08:40 I've played this for so many years and never noticed the lakitu. BRUH!
I only noticed that this guy was doing the mini games in alphabetical order on Shock Drop and Roll.
1:04:00 I never knew you had to do both at THE SAME TIME. I always hit one and the other in a row as fast as possible and always wondered why it never worked.
Tldr, kids be dumb.
1:30:00 The cannonballs appear to influence the players direction based entirely off of the wind direction based on the footage I see.
I notice that if the wind rushed left, and the opponent hit you at all, you fall to the left, and vice versa for the right rushing wind.
Note: Rainbow Run and Dungeon Dash have to be unlocked by purchasing all 1-Vs-3 and 2-Vs-2 mini games from Woody in mini game mode
Easter Egg: Open the map while on Bowser Land and scroll down to the bottom of the board. You’ll see pictures of Bowser The Brash, Captain Bowser, Black Hole Bowser, Bowser Sphinx and Wizard Bowser from the game’s other boards!
Simpleflips is 100% taking notes on notes lmao
a small note about scateboard scamper im not sure if this is true or not or it was placebo but it seems like not jumping on the downhills to give you speed and then juping on the uphill gave a marginal advantage I dont know if its true or not though. also on tipys Tirvbey I belive it is in fact a bit faster to do the inside first.
I love the fact that you emphasized every time you replaced hip drop with ground pound
Also not saying GIF but Graphic Interchange Format to avoid pronunciation debate
The fact that Mario is the most viable is so funny to me
you also might want to pay the 20 coins if you're stuck in a loop in the top part because if you pay it the sniffit will chase you RIGHT towards the junction.
last night when i played with my friends we were stuck in the top part for HALF the game lol
2:51 I’ve played this for 5 years and I’ve NEVER seen that. It is just really rare?
Your custom voices for each stat screen was awesome
Saw that the Mario player counted to 69 during the roll call minigame and I'm so glad I caught that.
1:46:47 Bowser's Big Blast
The winning player and the order of player elimination is actually predetermined.
1:49:35 that was the quickest and smoothest game of bumper balloon cars I’ve ever seen xD
Love the video even this this comment about 4 years late xD
Wow, I'm 3 years late, huh? Well, I might as well comment on my thoughts, anyway…I always liked to think this game's boards were actually the boards from Mario Party 1 in the future. Pirate Land is Yoshi's Tropical Island, maybe pirates took it over or something, Space Land could be Luigi's Engine Room maybe after more modern technology got made, Mystery Land is what happened to Wario's Battle Canyon after the war between the Bob-Ombs ended (it's probably the one that fits the most), Horror Land is DK's Jungle Adventure which got haunted by Boos, and Bowser Land is Bowser's Magma Mountain, now turned into an amusement park.
Western Land is the only board that I can't think of that might be a Mario Party 1 board in the future, the closest board I can think of that it might be is Eternal Star maybe after it crashed onto Earth or maybe Mario's Rainbow Castle, but neither make sense…oh, well. It's still a good 5 out of 6 boards.
I love the intros to the boards here
I once got stuck on metallic bloopers ride for near 8 turns. then when I got out I got stuck in it again not long after.
what decides the items appearing in an item minigame?
why does the warp block sometimes gets replaced by a bowser bomb?
does it depends on the player's place and turn order, just like shops?
It amazes me that Pirate Land is the first board you’re expected to play. I decided to play this game on Switch Online, it was my first time playing Mario Party. I wasn’t great at the minigames and so I was broke and sent back to the beginning, which started a series of trying to leave the first island to get to the star, in which I had no coins to buy items to help cross the bridge, which made crossing almost impossible with 2 cpus trying to cross at the same time, and I couldn’t land on the transport shark. It was a miserable experience where I spent easily 10 turns stuck in a coinless loop at the start of the board, unable to progress to the star.
I eventually had much more fun on the Western Land board because 1/2 of the board didn’t feel like sitting on a landmine.
1:34:23
Someone doesn't like Waluigi XD
131:00 I have played and replayed this game multiple times, so many hours, including playing the mini game stadium. I have never seen rainbow run ever.
I really wish the Mal specific costumes would come back
I just want to say I paused to read that wall of text towards the end
