And considering it’s very strange mechanics, making a challenge run centered around it was a no-brainer.

15:09 40 isn't the soft cap on Vitality/Vigor in any of the Dark Souls games: in DS1 the soft cap is 50 with 1500 HP (1800 with the FaP ring). In DS3 it's 1300 at 50, and DS2 has the initial falloff at 20 (30HP per level) and the second at 50 (20HP per level, afterwards 5). Elden Ring does have a sharper falloff after 40 and a bigger one at 60, but the HP increase in that game is weird since you actually get MORE HP per level until 40.

101% agree about the pure torture runs! It puts them in a weird place where you're bored by the gameplay, which is the hard part, and stay for the commentary, which is the easier part… and at that point why even torturing yourself with the run when the interesting part is just the commentary?!
(Not sure if this is a compliment or an insult to press continue and all those guys who go 100% hard on every run 🤔 still watch for the puns though)

Why not Four Kings as third boss? At some point you make it sound like you are blocked on the Lord Vessel, but thats not actually the case. You just need the ring.
If it was just for health reasons, ok, but for lore reasons i figured you'd fist the Asylum Demon and rush to farm the hand off dark wraiths.
I dont mind that you gave your character the challenge item from the start, but in this case you could get it immediately… its just past a bunch of spooky ghosts and farmed off some late game mobs, no big deal.
