I always said this, ghost is the real AC 5, after unity or syndicate Ubisoft shuold have gone for this type of gameplay, and not the rpg, especially with odyssey and origins

I love AC but I might arguably love ghost of Tsushima more its just what's good about ac mixed with some history and other amazing game mechanics 11/10 I recommend to play asap

I’m currently in the middle of a replay through, just got the Sakai clan armor, the first day I picked this game back up (first time on ps5 my first 2 play throughs were back in ps4 when it came out) all I could think was how GORGEOUS it still is
Another thing this game has that you can upgrade through armor perks and stuff is Fear. This mechanic was so fun and I think that it would be amazing if ac utilized this as in depth as GoT. I feel like as a guard seeing the infamouse assassin killing all my homies would be horrifying.
This game was amazing, I got the platinum a week ago and it incredible, the world is so beautiful and immersive and the side objectives were really fun, my favourite parts are probably the duels and shinto shrines

I played most of AC games and none was as good as Ghost of Tsushima, beats in every aspect, AC became mediocre franchise, typical of Ubisoft.

Great call out to the Lethal difficulty!! This kind of mode IMO is the perfect hard mode. Not nearly enough games implement something like this. All it does is raise the stakes on both offense and defense.. it makes you very fragile but you also feel more deadly and powerful than ever. Also, because you realistically can't just use armor to tank damage, you are forced to actually use your bow, your gadgets, positioning, blocking and dodging all in harmony in order to get through tough encounters. It's a brilliant way to handle difficulty IMO and is SO SO SO much better than what most games do where they just boost the shit out of enemy HP and turn them into damage sponges, effectively making combat into a tedious mess and fucking up the whole feel of combat. Tons of games make this mistake and I really hope some more people take inspiration from this mode! At least as an option, a more traditional hard mode is fine too but this kind of glass cannon, high damage low health mode is insanely fun, and pulling off huge fights without getting hit a single time makes you feel like an absolute BEAST

the game was amazing for about half its run time. after that its easy to see all the things that made it very cool and original are just copied and pasted for the rest of the game.. duels loose their charm, and all the side missions go on for too long repeating the same type of tasks with no cinematic events or anything that separates main missions from them. . fox dens and all the side events of that sort all rinse and repeat. i've tried to do a play though 3 separate times and each time got bored of it before i even got to the snowy parts. even tho the graphics and combat are amazing and the feel of the game is every well done an original it gets very repetitive.
just give it to us on pc already 🙁
GOT is one of the best games I ever played, I completed it with 100% and EVERYTHING was fun nothing felt like work, they nailed almost every aspect of the game, Combat, story, sidecontent, open world, characters and many things more … it would be easily the best Ac game ever made … if Ubisoft is smart they just copy paste it

Ubisoft can only dream of ever achieving the love and care that eastern Japanese or Korean developers do. Hell, the western animators can’t even compete in terms of anime and their storylines let alone video games. I’ll always adore so many JRPGS than any western RPG other than the Witcher series.

I played the ghost of Tsushima recently the game is beautiful and I love the story telling and being playing the assassin's Creed series since the beginning (not RPG) There's a similarity between the two games

•Hiding in the grass
•Silence kills
•Smoke bombs
•Eagle vision
•darts
•air assassination
Note : I played the ghost of Tsushima mostly in stealth mode
Probably my favorite PlayStation exclusive of all time, with Marvels Spider-Man being a close second.
Im in a Ryūha a japanese warfare school basicly, which is over 200 years old where you learn everything the Samurai also trained, you learn fighting techniques with all different kinds of weapons, you learn about culture and ettiquette, how to dress, how to fight wearing Armor, at some point you have to be fluent in Japanese even and the funny thing is some of my fellow students actually joyned that school because of Ghost of tsushima 😅
Am excited about this game coming to pc more than ac mirage or codename red and i think in no shape or form codename red will be better than it, I've given up on ubisoft

Ghost of Tsushima and Aragami are AC game with no hidden blades or templars… But I like to think that I can take vengeance against the Mongols for Masyaf in this game
My head cannon is that Jin is an proto assassin before they got to the island to actually start the brotherhood. And the monguls are a branch of Templars. I also have him wear all white in my gameplay.

Gameplay-wise it's easily the best game I've ever played. The controls, fluidity of the game and fighting are perfect. I'm struggling to see how they can top this with a sequel, it's that good imo

Tbh i actually really disliked this game – i found the first to acts of the game really boring and the Sidequests also really didnt do it for me somehow – the fighting gameplay was really nice but the stealth was really boring and way to easy in my opinion – also the lack of a minimap or somerthing forces you to always get back to the main map to mark the next random collectable
And oh man
I love the arkham games and even their riddler trophies
And i even colleted all the dump collectables in Ac4
But in this game? I just couldnt do it because there are soooo many of them and all of them are like 10 minutes from each other. And in that time nothing happens. You just sit there and ride for an eternity only holding your left stick forward.
Some of the Outfits are nice but most of them also didnt really catch me
And it was actually quiet annoying that their effects were bound to the outfits so you had to weird some ugyl shit only to have a playable experience :/
Also there were many bugs and glitches…
I dont know why i had such a bad experience with the game but for me this game is hella overrated😬😅
