This vid a couple weeks late
Im a collector so i had to get a physical standard (bonus items are the tie in comic and spiderbot) and 2 Collector's editions
I got the collectors edition I’ll just buy a physical disk and sell the digital code
I preordered the standard edition of the game
Getting collectors edition is not worth it deluxe or standard is better
The game is so expensive
The lack of disk is still something I dont get, But im a sucker for statues. soooo
If we buy the digital deluxe edition at the release of marvel’s spider man 2 will we get the pre order bonuses

I’ve never gotten a dde add on for the game I already have the base for, so do you need to pay full price for the extra stuff in the dde like for spider man 2 base $60 + dde add on $70 = $130 or would I only have to pay the $60 for the base, then $10 for the add on?
I don't care which one is worth buying as soon as I saw that statue with the collector's edition I knew from day one I was buying it. All I got to do is play the waiting game also if anyone knows the exact date when they will start shipping plz let me know.
i'm pretty sure the reason that the collector's edition doesn't include a disc is for a few reasons:
1. There's a non-zero population of people that own a digital PS5, and wouldn't be able to use the disc (if the collector's edition came with only a disk).
2. While they could include both a disc and a digital download code, then they'd have to charge an additional $70 for the collector's edition, raising the total cost to $299.99, which is quite a lot of money! And I imagine that a good chunk of people might buy this and feel like they wasted money on a second copy of the game that they'll never use. Yeah they could give the other copy to a friend or do a giveaway on Reddit, but not everyone is so generous.
3. While they could produce and sell both disc and digital versions of the collector's edition, that would reaalllly suck to deal with as a consumer. If you have a digital PS5 and you wanna get the collector's edition, but the only units available are the ones with a disc, you're shit out of luck and just have to wait. Or if you really want the collector's edition that comes with a disc but the only ones available are digital versions, you either have to wait for more stock of the units with a disc, or just cave in and buy the digital version. Additionally, having a digital and disc version of the collector's edition means that Sony would have to produce and ship two different SKUs of the same product. They would need to set up two different production lines to appease a very small portion of the overall userbase.
I love my physicals and I can’t afford the collectors edition and I also need to still get a ps5.
It sucks but it makes sense. If you have a digital PS% you cant use the disc and they cant give u a disc and physical copy because then they're basically giving 2 copies of the game. What they should of done is had 2 different versions of the collectors edition. A digital and physical version. The digital one being slightly cheaper because it doesn't come with a disc

i might pre order the standard edition so i can have a disc and then see if i can upgrade to the deluxe edition. i want those suits 😭
The collector’s edition is still terrible and worse than the first game collector’s so that’s a hard pass. I’ll preorder the digital deluxe and eventually i’ll buy the physical when the game gets cheaper. The physical preorder bonuses are lame and i’m no seller.
