Greetings, Durag Nation! Amidst all the debate about Venom’s identity — I’m still saying it’s Norman, by the way — one aspect seems to be overlooked. That’s the potential introduction of Gwen Stacy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and her becoming a playable part of the franchise. There’s been a “leak” suggesting she’ll appear at the end of the game, but that leaker also didn’t recognize Lizard as a main villain. However, I’ve noticed some cues from Insomniac hinting at the emergence of Spider-Gwen. Ready to know how? Now, an interesting theory from one of my subscribers about Gwen got me thinking and checking whether Insomniac has given any hints about Gwen appearing in their universe. Surprisingly, they have, all the way back in August 2018, even before the release of Spider-Man PS4. There was speculation at the time that Gwen was hiding in plain sight as Silver Sable, but of course, we know Gwen wasn’t in Spider-Man PS4. They did, however, introduce her future husband, Miles Morales.Given Spider-Gwen’s ever-growing popularity, and the current plot developments, I believe Insomniac may just introduce another spider person in the mix, as they did in the first game. Spider-Man 2 PS5 Leaks from alleged Insomniac emails talk about a 3rd playable character. If Eddie Brock isn’t Venom, Gwen could play a similar role to Miles from the first game. There’s even a perfect way to bring her into the story.In the comics, Gwen’s father, George Stacy, is a renowned NYPD police Captain who came onto the scene investigating a slew of murders. This aligns perfectly with what we know about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. An alleged playtester mentioned Miles and Peter discovering bodies around the city. Given the gameplay trailer’s confirmation of Yuri Watanabe becoming the violent vigilante, Wraith, it’s plausible she could be behind these deaths.With Miles’ father, Jefferson, gone and the position of police captain vacant after Yuri’s departure, there’s a clear opening for a pro-Spider-Man detective in the NYPD — say hello to Gwen’s father, Captain George Stacy. This could set the stage for Gwen’s introduction as George’s college-bound daughter, potentially connecting with Miles and Peter, both involved with Empire State University.If Gwen is introduced, it would make sense for her to be around the same age as Miles, possibly becoming a love interest for him, given that Peter already has Mary Jane and Black Cat. Plus, it aligns with audience expectations following the success of the Spiderverse films. Who knows, maybe Gwen might even end up with a symbiote.

How would you feel about Gwen Stacy being playable in Marvel's Spider-Man 2?
I don’t want spider Gwen she is really overrated I would like them to do her death and not have another spider character she could be Peter’s ex trying to reconnect witch could lead to her death the whole miles and Gwen thing never made since to me

I really wanna see how they're gonna impliment the symbiote behaviour and expressions on Peter's remastered face cause Bubniak's face would've nailed it imo. But the Ben Jordan face, looks way too young and less expressive to me.
So I guess this universe has multiple spider people which is really cool because in some comics, Peter and Gwen don’t get together at all, and she still becomes spider, Gwen, or whenever they’re together in the same series she’s also considered as ghost spider to hide her identity a little bit more

Just to let everyone know at the end of Spider-Man ps4 when miles is helping Peter move in you hear him talking about a girl two things phin or Gwen but I most likely think it’s Gwen considering miles hadn’t seen phin in years at the end of Spider-Man ps4
Please hopefully they don’t make it like the movies just keep doing that’s they are doing
Honestly I really liked the spider Gwen comics, which eventually became Gwenom, which lead into the Symbiote wars between anti venom and venom, it was a whole multiverse event and I kinda liked that story, so if insomniac tosses the symbiote to Gwen in an end credits scene, that would be kinda cool to see in dlc or in the next game. I don’t really expect to see ‘spider-Gwen’ appear before the second games dlc if at all. But it does make sense to introduce Gwen this game or in its dlc if they want to follow the spider gwen storyline.
Noooo that’s lame fr. Her mechanics will be just like Peter and miles. On the other hand venom offers an array of new abilities that only the ps5 can do justice to in that gameplay

Out of the pairings Miles gets with Gwen is honestly my favourite. Hey at least it’s not peter Parker that’s going to get her killed. At least she has Miles. Honestly it doesn’t matter the adaptation Miles and Gwen are bound to get together it’s inevitable at this point
Miles has a love interest the deaf artist girl Hailey so Gwen should be a side character and maybe she gets a side game in alternate universe where she is the main Spider person
What about the cannon event usually Gwen Stacy loses her father or in the new movie she loses her best friend Peter Parker so how will she become Spider-woman without one of those happening
