I hope they weren't forced to put Kraven into this game just for the movie to sell a bit more well than it probably would have…
Has doctor octopus been venom at some point? Because if he hasn’t it would make some sense because he can’t use his body much now and the venom symbiote would let him move around normally again plus would be another way to try kill Norman Osborn too, and he already knows that Peter is Spider-man

He was the true villain of Miles Morales, but to me it felt like he could be someone who returns, and returning as Venom would be an amazing thing. He was Miles villain first, but now he'd be a big problem for both Peter and Miles, and Miles couls have emotional issues with the fight cuz of anger and stuff cuz of Phin. I just feel like it's an interesting "what if" idea.
An original take on the story doesn’t necessarily mean it can’t be someone who hasn’t already been venom. The way they become venom and the story itself could be an original take on the character. It doesn’t necessitate that the host must be original.
I think it's going to be Wilson fisk based on the venom design and everything. However, I would prefer it to be Harry Osborne that interaction between peter and Harry in the superhero vs. villain way would be so good to see as insomniac are incredible with character development
I think people are missing out on the fact that there are way more villains than venom to be excited for. Green goblin and kraken are just as if not more exciting than venom to me. Venom has been done so many times before

I'm team Norman. Think Harry will die. Norman blames Spiderman and seeks revenge. Finds discarded symbiote and together they form Venom to hunt the spidermen
If they do an original take on who is Venom in this game (the final one, anyway, symbiote will probably change hands a few times before the finale) is a Spider-man clone, like Ben Railey. We do not know much of Venom, but it looks like he is created by Oscorp rather than an alien. He is possible designed to keep Harry alive, but it rejects him, which is why he is kept in a tank and stasis. The Spiders were probably made as a sort of 'bonding agent' for Venom, but both of them escaped, so Osborn instead creates a clone of Spider-man (discovering he is Peter Parker in the process, which is possible another reason he never told any of Harry's friends about his condition), which he can drain the radioactive blood of to give Harry a transfusion, bond fully with Venom, and stay alive, but manages to escapes during a Lizard transformation, Venom latches onto curt (possible attracted to those with altered DNA and genetics), then bonds with Peter, and then eventually makes it's way to the escaped clone.
I just think it is this because it is an easy solution to getting a third spider-man in their cast for a third game, as well as a standalone 2.5 game based on them. I realize it is probably WAY off the marker and crazy sounding, but just find it an interesting concept and original idea outside of the usual suspects presented to us.

I feel like peter should only become venom for like 1 short mission, i imagine the symbiote being VERY strong if it wants any chance of going against this version of peter parker considering he took on 6 of his most powerful villains alone. So i imagine peter would struggle to escape the symbiote but maybe miles or MJ could start yelling to peter through venom, giving him more encouragement to escape as soon as possible, and when he does venom escapes and finds the person who becomes venom for the rest of the game
Edit: the scale of the host doesn’t determine the size of the symbiote, eddie in the venom movies isnt very bulky but venom is, and the harry osborne clip of him being venom, harry is built like a twig, and look at the size of venom.
The fact that Venom isn't Eddie is a huge letdown, it killed the hype for me
I would guess that they are aware of the USM cartoon, since that was the Basis of Mile's cell shaded suit (not the ITSV one)

Hey blitzwinger my name is Evan Pacheco and i just wanna say that over the years you have made such a huge impact in my life and i can’t appreciate you enough for it, i remember being in 4th grade coming home from school getting on my nokia right away to see if you made any new batman arkham videos and i would always watch them and watch you play, i also remember watching you play octodad when i was little and after watching you play that game and laugh and have fun i begged my dad to get it for my birthday, moral of the story i’m happy that your still making content on your yt channel and i’m just happy to see you making new spider-man content because i can’t wait for that game to come out and knowing that my favorite yter is as hyped as i am just makes me feel amazing :,)

If they actually mean original take then my first guess would be ganke but its very very unlikely that he would end up being venom and I really don’t see them doing this but they can do it for a twist and would be difficult for miles to fight him because he is his best friend but again it’s very unlikely but possible if they go for a twist.

"Because obviously we all love Venom," But do you? If you did, Eddie would be under the goo. I don't think they really care about Venom. At all. I think they like Venom's aesthetics, maybe some of his themes, but the character? If they loved him he'd be Eddie, not Harry or Norman or Kraven or any other pretender.
I hope they're doing a Rocksteady and just lying about Venom not being Eddie. Or maybe Eddie is the Symbiotes final host leading to the birth of the real Venom? I hope so… But I doubt it.

idk they had us questioning who the leader of the sinister six was in the first game even tho it was ALWAYS doc ock. i think they want to keep this game as lowkey as possible until the story is accessible to everyone. i think it’ll be eddie just because they can still tell a unique story with comic-rooted elements
