A lot of people believe Harry Osborne is Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and I think it’s not that simple. I believe someone else will become Venom.

Honestly i agree also Venom might be multiple characters i think when miles fights spiderman he will be the first venom imo also i think theres a chance venom can return in the sequel brock still exists in this universe there is a possibility he can be venom still.

I have a theory :
What if in the trailer when Kraven asks "will you give me what I desire?" he was talking to another villain or some thugs but then Peter with the symbiote suit from the shadows is the one that says "Yes, we will" then jumps in front of Kraven and we get a boss fight with him. Then when we defeat him the symbiote tries to make Peter kill Kraven but Miles stops him then we get to fight symbiote Peter as Miles. Miles' bioelectricity repells off the symbiote off of Peter which a few seconds later we see the symbiote attaching to Kraven who's knocked out after the fight with symbiote Peter and then Kraven and the symbiote dissapear from the place he and symbiote Peter fought and then the camera shows us a big hole in a wall or the ceilling in the place they fought.
It is a very interesting theory and it is a theory I have been seeing being tossed around lately, it is quite possible that Kraven could be this game’s Venom, it is not the most far fetched possibility, but one thing I do think is that we haven’t seen any interactions between Harry and Peter to see what Harry’s mindset is going to be at when being reunited with Peter.

I think kraven can get the venom symbiote like early or mid game then the symbiote switch to someone else we never seen with the symbiote
I feel he could have hate for peter to be venom after finding out that mj knew he was spider-man but never told his best friend, and then him hate him
One possible idea that people don't seem to consider is the idea that venom might NOT HAVE A HOST AT ALL by the time he is fully formed.
Like maybe for this version of the symbiot having a host is not a necessity but just a simple means to build its own strength.

Hate to break it to you, but Kraven was Venom in Spider-Man: Life Story. So this kinda kills the theory

What if Venom is actually Connors? He is healed of the Lizard persona, but didn't want to be. He then takes on the symbiote and still has the size of Lizard based on his anger.
Connors theory aside – I am really leaning towards Kraven as well. He is getting a lot of attention as a main villain along with Venom and Harry losing the symbiote is a good segway for Norman to snap for a third game. The biggest clue to Kraven for me is that the symbiote will retain the Spider symbol for being rejected and because Kraven will see Spiderman as the top challenge and will want to be viewed in that same fashion.

Your theory definitely makes sense, as in what if Kraven realizes he can't beat Spiderman and then in a last ditch effort he bonds with the symbiote to finally obtain Real Power?! Although while I'm still excited for Venom cuz he looks badass and awesome, I really wished they kept Eddie as Venom like why such a big character change? But oh well, I feel whoever they choose to be Venom has to have some serious malice for Spiderman.
It better eventually be Eddie because I don’t want no skinny ass Venom. We better get the jacked Venom that we all know and he better cause some serious havoc or this game is a flop. He’s the only character I care about in this entire game. They better do it right. 👀👀
It would be tough if Venom is bonded with Kraven
I doubt this theory, Kraven wants an equal and will be far more interested in slaying the symbiote over taking it for himself especially when we know Kraven doesn't want power…. he wants an equal, someone to challenge him and it wouldn't make sense for Kraven to make the hunt easier by taking the symbiote away from his prey to then amp himself knowing this will make it much easier….
It also would be pretty anticlimactic if the already known villain from the 1st trailer became the other already known villain from the 1st trailer…
It's more likely I see for Kraven to be killed by Venom whether it be Peter in the symbiote that then from the event of killing Kraven goes to then get rid of the symbiote or the other secret host gains Venom then has the encounter with Kraven then kills him…
