I just wonder why you never used the ice sword against the fiery old king demon?
I guess that’s the tunnel vision kicking in at full force.
I think the song is based on the song for demons in DS1 but I could be wrong. Defeating Tsorig gives his Black Iron set and weapons. The only way to get things in the lava is maximizing fire protection and heal a lot. One set of lava huts more than the other, but the rewards are top tier for pyromancy play. Most pyromancies are pretty affordable, but requirements reflect their nature and added strength. By the Perimeter bonfire of Farron Keep is a hole in the wall with de ent sorcery loot below it in a cave. From what I gather, half of those catacombs belong to Carthus, and the other half to the demons. The plethora of pyromancy tomes that whole catacombs clarifies they're there in ties to Carthus, but are not friends. Wolnir likely most obtained pyromancy from Quelana with offering humanity to her sister and made it into dark pyromancies for his dark ambitious path to become the last alive by hiding in the Abyss. The part people forget was the Old Chaos being contained and quelled by a child of the dark with ice. Before then we never seen utilized ice from anywhere, but we see a trail at its roots. Unfortunately I am the most invested you will find on this subject.
1:17:47 You would've known if you read the item description of the Witch's Ring when you picked it up like an hour ago together with the Old Sage's Blindfold.
It mildly annoyed me how you read the description of the headpiece but totaly ignored the ring 🙃!
17k, bro!! Congrats!
You should really kill the giant worm. His Loot is worth it.
The worm gave me the same reaction no idea how I forgot about it (I played last week)
Used the wrong charm 😅😅. U saw the Lloyd talisman but went for duel one which was next. Do try it properly. It is a really fun mechanics. Puts it to sleep and u can get the item without fight 👍. Lloyd talisman is named undead hunter charm in DS3, not duel charm.
Justice for Mr Krabz
Fun to see you enjoy these areas so much, you ain't seen nothing yet : – D
17k!!! Lets go!
The pace after Wolnir also has the most freaky and disgusting enemy in the series in my opinion. Sends shivers down my spine
1:27:23 Just to clarify some things, actually the area you were in with all the annoying enemies was the demon ruins. You kinda took a shortcut to the middle of the level when you jumped down to the old king's antechamber from the smoldering lake when the ground opened up from the ballista shot. If you would've went with the "intended" path the bonfire called demon ruins would've been the first one you find before going down there and eventually finding the old king's antechamber. Nonetheless I think the only item you missed was the Izalith Staff up on the ledge near the frog boyos that you saw but couldn't get up to. If you wanted to grab it there's two hidden walls to get to it next to the group of rats near that area.
Do you have any plans to play some of the big ds3 mods such as cinders mod or convergence?
The farron greatsword scales with dex so if you wanna keep using it, I'd recommend putting levels in dex. If you wanna go for a full strength build though, the Guts greatsword is a fun weapon and deals a shit load of damage.
so happy to see a new vid after a 10 hour shift [T]/
You can totally cheese that big worm with turning the turret back on and hiding behind a rock! Otherwise it's really annoying to fight cause of it's giant health pool.
Could consider doing a different build in each dlc.
Don't forget about anri.
So remember how dark souls 2 you had to summon npc's as part of their questlines, ds3 does something a bit different, sometimes you come across a summon sign, using it wont summon an npc, it will summon you to there world to do something. Just thought that info might come in useful.
If you find yourself in a situation with no flasks again, maybe see if you can use any healing miracles, or the warmth pyromancy, you should have 1 attunement slot, or at the very least check out your chimes/talismans some of them have a heal weapon art, can't unequip the chime or 2h something else while healing or the heal stops and it takes 60seconds for its full effect.
You wanna go back and kill tsorig and that worm, it has something you want.
Don’t tell her.
Thank you for the many opportunities to laugh in this episode. I do have to say that I did not expect the amount of face-sitting, though. 😂
20k before final final boss, calling it now
You did use the wrong Lloyds talisman on the mimic lol.
Fun fact, you could've made this mimic fight and maybe kill the Demon!
Im still surprised you dont have way more subscribers, you definitely deserve it, also the smouldering lake may burn you, but at least it isnt the shrine or amana 😂 thats exactly how my first playthrough in that area went
Hey I currently finished the bloodborne series I'm glad I've found you friend you've been a good one to watch and can't wait to see your journey
It's great to see Mati slowly realise that crabs are absolutely everywhere in this game haha
The old demon king had a Did moment and yes it was intentional.
He did a last ditch AOE attack and was too tired to do much beyond kinda swiping at you
I dont think this is a spoiler just more of a tip about stat allocation.
Back when I played I min-maxed my stats so that I could use most weapons/sorceries/miracles effectively except like 5 of each type.
If i remember correctly you only need 20 points in Dex to equip almost all dex weapons in the game except for maybe 3 or so that require 34 and 40 dex to equip.
EDIT: Also you were half right on the talisman on the mimic, but it's not the golden talismans, it's the white ones.
The white ones are called Undead Hunter charms.
I hated this area so much. Once I got all of items from it, I left and never looked back.
Great episode Mati!
habla en español en el q&r 🎉
Time for crab
Item for the Mimic sleep is the Undead Hunter Charm, the silver pendant looking thing. you have to throw it at them to fall asleep 💤💤🌀🌀💤💤
Its 1am here in germany, just got out of DND and I'm starting this almost two hour video. My kids have school tomorrow. Gods have mercy on me, I dont regret a thing 😂 i love your videos so much. Have a great week, mati! ❤
Hit the skeleys while they are on the ground to finish them off, or put a holy affinity on a weapon
My only question for the Q&A: Who is the best waifu in all of soulsbornekiroring? For me it's probably Priscilla the crossbreed
Next time you see a mimic chest, try moving the camera through it. It’ll clip through the model. And you can see the teeth fingers from the inside, it’s fun.
