I feel like we're finally going to be able to experience the full potential that the ps5 has to offer with this game. I bought a ps5 this year with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in mind and I'm just pumped it's finally coming out soon, it's going to be a game changer.

Just to clarify spiderman ps4 came out in 2018 and the ps4 came out in 2013…ps4 pro about 2016 so yeah technically 5 years after the launch of ps4
Improved Webswinging….more combat animations…enemy types…..possibly the black suit
i hope thats theres more variety in combat, the first game is awsome but the fighting can get repetitive
I'm content with how the web swinging is. Challenging for me but fun at exactly the same time. And sometimes just chillin when free swinging lol

Me personally I think this could be the goty if the mechanics are beyond better than Marvel – Spider-Man and Miles Morales.
I'm not gonna be able to play this but I'm waiting like I would be waiting for a movie so I'm still really hyped.

I would love to see a slingshot mechanic added to the game, some way Peter and Miles can get speed in the air instantly. Like they can be on a rooftop and they attach a web to the ground using each arm, pull back then sling themeslves forward in that direction. I think Rami Spiderman did that in one of the films. Also web of shadows black suit mechanic to where you can put the black suit on and off whenever you want too. And switching between Peter and Miles gta style would be so sick. Also hoping the black suit has its own skill tree and moveset thats way more brutal than regular spidey. More tricks and swinging animations, maybe double web swigning like Spiderman 2 ps2 had, more city life like night clubs, random parades during the day, make NY seem more alive. I mean 2018 and Miles were perfect games, now its just adding to the perfection lol.

I'm gonna laugh if people feel let down from the reveal. Just do to how hyped everyone is and how hyped up the game is, I'm not expecting too much from it honestly so if it turns out to be amazing or spectacular than awesome if not then oh well.

The lack of requiring a learning curve to master the web swinging and traversal is a huge turnoff that no amount of animation or graphics could compensate for.
PS. Not hating on insomniac but with all the things they nailed gameplay wise, the lack of an advanced web swinging mechanic is a missed opportunity.
