Let me see if I understood this. Was that abstract figure of personified Darkness Vanitas before he had Sora as a template for his form?
We're led to believe in BBS that Ven was pure light because Vanitas was separated from him but here Ven referred to himself as pure light and was able to tap into that light to defeat the heartless as eloquence. Ergo Vanitas was not a natural part of him but rather Ven elected to fuse him into his heart to protect his friends and Xehanort just undid that?
Then, that end moment, when Brain sent the three off to their separate fates in the pods, was that the badlands Ven had landed in where Xehanort found him? So why wasn't Ven legit made a union leader? If this isn't a true leader I don't know that is.
