hey, love these videos! just a little combat tip, i see you run out of ammo a lot, dont forget about bricks and bottles!! when you throw them at an enemy they become stunned therefore 1 shot to any melee weapon, even your switchblade! also your smoke bombs do the same thing except they can stun multiple people at once, just something to keep in mind instead of ammo!

Since you already finished the game, little fun fact. While Ellie was interrogating Nora, around the line " Think about what he did. " a deep growl can be heard in the background, that's Abby fighting the rat king in the basement. Abby turned on the lights hence the red lights. Both of them are the epitome of 'so close yet so far.'
Nora lowkey lied to delay Abby's demise. She told her she was in the aquarium but she was right there under Ellie's nose.

No one talks about the fact that the Fireflies are shitty people. Who's to say that they would actually use the potential cure for the good of mankind? And not just keep it for themselves. Also they should have asked Ellie straight up instead of kidnapping her. Cause in this situation, Joel was right to kill everyone.

I’m definitely in the minority but Joel definitely got what he deserved. That man killed so many people, innocent as well. There’s a reason why Tommy ran from him during those 20 yrs. He was ruthless and killed innocents when asking for help. Remember, Joel said he was a hunter as well when he said he was on both ends of it. He lived by the sword, he died by it 🤷🏾♀️

Jesse and Owen are the 2 nicest guys in the game, and their story is kinda mirrored, Ellie is with Jesse's ex whom he got pregnant, and Abby's ex is with her friend (Mel) whom he got pregnant.
The point is, Jesse was ok with his ex being with Ellie, was still friendly towards Ellie, left Jackson to help them, no cath or strings attached…. Poor Jesse (and Owen).
Oh, and BTW, you can use melee weapons on clickers, including bricks even!!
Regarding the discussion you brought up on "What would I have done if I as in Joel's shoes?" In a podcast with Neil Druckman he said they've done a lot of polling of gamers who finished TLOU1 and asked them that question. Among folks who didn't have kids, the answer was roughly 50/50. Among parents the answer was 100% they thought Joel did the right thing.
The scene where Ellie returns back to the theatre after getting the info from Nora. A lot of the TLOU2 haters pointed that scene out as bad writing because they interpreted it as Ellie being shaken from killing Nora. They would say along the line "We killed 100 WLFs before we got to Nora, why does this ONE shake up Ellie? That's bad writing!" Ellie wasn't shook because she killed Nora. She was shook because she tortured the hell out of Nora. Ellie said "I can make this so much worse." Our last look of Nora said she wasn't going to tell Ellie anything. Yet, Ellie shows back up with the theatre with knowing where Abby is now. That means Ellie kept her promise of "I can make this so much worse." Even in this violent world of TLOU, the devs point out in a few subtle ways that torture is a level violence that few go to.
For me that scene where Dina is cleaning Ellie's wounds has so many layers to it and such an amazing scene done by the animation teams and Ashley Johnson.

So it’s both, in the opening scene with joel and Ellie the tension is just the fact that they just got back, he knows what he did, and she doesn’t quite believe him. Later when she meets up with Jesse and Maria, there absolutely was this extra layer of shit.
