We’re thrilled to share that an all-new single-player, third-person, action-adventure Iron Man video game is now in early development at Montreal-based Motive Studio. The team is being led by Olivier Proulx, who brings experience working on past Marvel titles like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and is joined by a dedicated team of passionate industry veterans including Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau, and JF Poirier at the studio.

now adays truely fun and exciting open world games are very rare
most of them are boring overly long repetitive tedious games
I hope that EA’s Iron Man game is at least as good as Insomniac’s Spider-Man game and Eidos-Montreale’s Guardians of the Galaxy game. I hope that after Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 game and Wolverine games are released, that Insomniac makes a triple-A game for Daredevil (with lawyer missions like Ace Attorney), Elektra, the Punisher (with various gun customization options), Blade, Doctor Strange, and Thor (with the ability to switch between Mjolnir and Jarnbjorn). I hope Eidos-Montreale makes either a Guardians of the Galaxy prequel or sequel game, and a triple-A Fantastic Four game with Reed Richards as the player character. I hope that after Monolith’s Wonder Woman game is released, that a triple-A game is made for Superman (maybe with a choice-and-consequence mechanic like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game), Aquaman, the Flash, the Green Lantern Corps (with the ability to quickly switch between Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and Kilowog), and Plastic Man. Lastly, I hope that after the game, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is released, that a triple-A game is made for Judge Dredd and Spawn.
Let's not get too hype until we see some gameplay cause people switch up real quick "Oh this look like Marvel Avengers without the other heroes or Fortnite lol smh" 🤷🏽♂🤦🏽♂
It’s nice to be excited for this game but a lot of stuff can happen between now & this game’s supposed release date in the future. If you’ve been following video game development over the past 10 years closely, then you’ll learn that plenty of highly anticipated games either never get released or they’re hot messes when they do release. 😊

Yes. A single-player superhero game absolutely, 100% needs a large open world, but the 1 thing I will say and will continue to say about open world games is that it's more than just its scenery. Tall buildings and shimmering open waters don't make for a great open world experience. For superhero games? People. It's liveliness. The post-game is just as important as its story and that's what makes Spider-Man 2 on XBOX and PS2 so great. You not only had an interactive NPC system in the way of side quests, but you had a lot of interiors, too, and this also contributes to the size of it. These aren't just buildings at this point but businesses and homes, hideouts and museums— That kind of thing. This is my biggest gripe with so-called bangers like GTA V when compared to San Andreas. Mini games, relationships, things to do.
This is so much more important when considering a superhero game, I feel like, because the thing about superheroes is that they are people.
That's why when Gotham Knights came out and they were talking about getting to know the Batfamily and yet we only ever saw them in the Belfry or out kicking butt— I was so genuinely destroyed over that game. Why wasn't it that we could see a Gotham in daylight, where we; as Robin, Dick, Jason, Barbara, or even Alfred could just go out and grab a coffee..?
That's why I'm calling it now… They may have an open world Iron Man… but they won't have an open world Tony Stark.

I just hope that controls are not anything like the og 08 movie tie in. It was an absolute nightmare. But even avengers proved it can be done with some more work
hopefully itll be an open world game so that we can fly in the whole city and have transfomration cutscenes where by pressing a button, the iron man suit flies to tony stark like in the movies
I still have my hopes out for a dark and gritty Dardevil game. Kinda like the Batman arkham games.
