Doing the mythic quests (the blue markers) are really difficult in Kurosawa mode because its black and white and most the missions require to follow colored elements (white petals, blue hydrangea, etc)

I do tend to use the Heavy arrows when stealthing, they're good for long range kills especially for archers on podiums because the force knocks them off their feet, so they take fall damage as well, then I used the short bow for predators. Explosive arrows I used more for crowd control, good for quickly setting off some explosives in a chain reaction but later in the game I didn't use it or the flame arrows as much. I was more of a stealthy guy though, using the chain assassinate in Mongol camps
wanna see something cool? IDK if youve done this yet but after you finish a battle swipe right on the touch pad. You can also swipe down to bow to dead bodies, and some places with a bowing sign have neat effects
Congratulations! You just butchered those people for no good reason. Maybe next time you'll remember that stealth without killing is possible.
Edit: Oh damn! All those tries on the Ryuzo mission and still didn't discover that you could sneak through the backdoor of the lighthouse and light the signal without being detected. 🤦🏿♂️ You really gotta get better at observing your surroundings, there's so much you miss.

The Half Bow and Bow aren't better or worse than one another, it's their utility.
Think of the half bow as a hand gun and the long bow as a sniper rifle
You use them in different circumstances.
I wonder if you played the horizon games. If you like ghost of Tsushima you will also like them !

There are many solutions to people's theft, Seito. Do not worry, you are still learning the way of the Samurai.
I hate to see you play to the end before you learn something of importance about the game. I mean, it has happen before lol. These things are not story spoilers, just some game mechanics.
You can swipe the touchpad on the controller to make Jin bow. Doing this in front of specific items/places will initiate something.
You can swipe the touchpad to sheathe your katana after battle, it has not real function other than looking REALLY cool.
Swipe up on touchpad to bow. Swipe right on touchpad post fight to do a badass sheathing of the Katana. Luv ur playthroughs btw 😁
Don't stop playing. I'm loving your play through. You've another, at least 20-30 hours ( including side quests), to get through. I've played this game several times, both normal and NG+, and put in about 200-300 hours, at least. My go-to game if I want to feel like a total bad-ass. I'm playing again after a 9 month hiatus, all down to watching you having a blast with Jin and co. Thank you for playing this masterpiece.😊😊 Oh by the way you could have squeezed through the gap at the back of the light house, and completed the fort in half the time.😂
Heavy arrows are useful for enemies with helmets and the bigger mongols that you find
The only advice I have is that you can change your armor at any time. I usually ride around in the Traveler's Attire, then switch to a stronger armor just before a Standoff, then switch back when the fight is done.
Tip: Not sure if you know this, but if you observe the leader and then kill them you get 2 points instead of just 1.
For me, I tend to do a couple of side quests between main mission. So I wouldn’t worry about clearing out the map for now since the map it’s actually much MUCH bigger than it looks in Act 1😂
I dont know why but that one Kenji's mission made me sad. Maybe because I've understood his good intentions and see him being insulted, hurted me.
If you see a wooden sign of someone bowing (there’s some along the paths during the platforming shrine things and also there’s one in a village by a river, if I remember correctly) then swipe down on the pad to bow in front of them. Something happens in front of each one and they contribute towards a trophy 🏆
Well, now you know there was also a back way into the tower.

The Mythic Tales are special side quests with the best rewards in the game. Not best in the sense that they'd necessarily be more powerful, but in the sense that they unlock new gameplay elements, like new moves and equipment you'd otherwise never get. You should prioritize them when you find them.
Plus, they have those "paper and ink" cutscenes that are just awesome to look at.

Something noteworthy,Longbow can pierce helmets so you can one shot headshot with it(Currently on 26:24 so no idea if you found out)

Don't forget to use the touch pad to clean the blade after battle (swipe right, it looks awesome) and bow (swipe down, contributes towards a trophy at areas with a wooden bowing sign)

If it makes you feel better, I've played through this game probably like 10 times by now and i've NEVER heard the dialogue at 1:18:00 haha
Also, you can toggle in option in the display settings that hides the bow & quiver on your back, in my opinion the Ronin attire looks alot better with the bow hidden
Another nice detail, the song the Ronin are singing is a melody from "Tsushima Suite: II. Shurai"
Maybe after this game, we can get a sekiro playthrough? What I'll say about sekiro is that it is kind of ruthless, but don't give up, it is an insanely rewarding experience as well.

also i just started new game plus mode not to long ago and got a charm that allows you to triple shot arrows. its so awesome.
