Game 1 hospital was in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ring you found in the big bank vault will mean more if you play that other big Naughty Dog game series.

Ellie's superpower if she could pick one, it would be invisibility. The game is very psychological and you learn a lot about the psychology of Ellie. People who don't have a lot of self-confident usually want to be invisible. That hits the mark with Ellie. You'll find clues about Ellie's personality throughout the game, almost in every personal dialogue. The game is a perfectly crafted character study. Nothing is out of character. Even the things that seem beautiful at first glance take on a much deeper and more gloomy meaning.
Why Ellie does what she does and why she can't stop is examined in detail here. And I'm not talking about the things that are obviously shown, but really about what is written between the lines.
There's crazy people who have made actual covers with that guitar mechanic, like you can find Ellie playing Metallica here on youtube.
Most of the guitar sequence is amazing and well done. Except Dina being there. Looking like a total jackass. And I even like Dina as a character. But they made her look so stupid here, during Take On Me. Easily the worst part of the game. Not even close.
I have small hands, too. The B barre chord is the bane of our existence.
There's YouTube videos of ppl putting together full-on Metallica songs on the acoustic with the controller. Shits insane, I can play Metallica on a real guitar, but it takes a special skill to play it on a controller. Lol.

There’s something in the settings that allows you to automatically pick items up when you walk by under accessibility options. Will save you a lot of time spamming triangle when you come up on a bunch of them at once, works for ammo and resources. Still would have to press to pick up collectibles like the notes and trading cards though.
Another fun fact, the initial trailer for last of Us tv show had a rendition of take on me as the backing track to the commercial. One of the other references to game two that never appeared in the first one. Only people who played the sequel would’ve got the significance.

you might have missed this on the tutorial on how to stealth kill clickers in tlou 1, crouch moving is not enough, you need to crouch and push your stick lightly treating it like a hair that needs a treatment. that way you can move undetected towards hearing sensitive enemies.
Seattle was nice, but the woke culture took over and now it's trashy. I lived 2hrs from Seattle but Washington State is beautiful

There is zero reason the songs should be muted. The game licensed them, and you are fair-use playing the game. I would bet my soul that Ah-Ha would not come after you, but the record label will. This is why they are losing market share. I have not purchased music, unless directly supplied by the artist for 10 years, and I hope this is a trend that continues. When artists sell music to the fans, we both win, they get 100% of the cash, and we save 50% of the cost, labels have lost all function.
Last of Us and Last of Us part 2 are great games. You should play Plague Tale Innocence and Plague Tale Requiem. Plague Tale Requiem got nominated for Game of year alongside with God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring. Plague Tale Requiem is a brutal game yet it gets you in feels with characters like Last of Us. The realism in Plague Tale Requiem is beautiful as well.

Glad the prologue didn't traumatize you too the point you didn't want to continue. That is a rough scene. There are going to be a lot of fans of the show that haven't played the game that will be shocked. Its going to be a similar reaction to the Game of Thrones Red Wedding I suspect.
I'd say just trust the story telling, there is definitely a purpose and moral to all of this.
