I’m fine with it being delayed honestly. It’s been difficult to get hyped for this one knowing what they might do to Venom and ultimately what they might do to Peter aka the one reason I’d play a Spider-Man game in the first place. I only got the Miles game cuz I wanted the remaster.

Here's the difference between Spider-Man 2 and SS.
SS always had me worried because it had only CGI trailers and almost no gameplay until February. It was then I asked, "Is this just Fortnite?". However, Spider-Man 2 is more likely to not be delayed since a. It's building off of a series of games and b. This situation can be compared to two other games.
Fnaf: Security Breach had tons of promotion, but still kept getting delayed constantly. Eventually, the end result was disappointing to many.
In contrast, we heard nothing about Bendy and the Dark Revival for years. However, out of nowhere, it released in November to overwhelming reception.
To conclude, I think that as long as the game is still being worked on, then I'm satisfied.
